Not long later, two guards appeared beside Yue Wang. "Master, this servant here was late. We await your punishment."

Mu Yunyao immediately ran into the house and saw Li Shi pinching her Mother hard. Her Mother's arm was already covered with bruises from all the pinching. Mu Yunyao started trembling from the anger.

Yang Shi quickly ripped Li Shi's hand away from Su Qing. She looked at Su Qing and furrowed her eyebrows. "Do you not know how to escape from her pinching? She is stuck to her bed, how could she possibly chase you?"

"Sister Yang, I……" Su Qing's eye were filled with tears.

Li Shi's words were becoming more vulgar by the minute. "Ha, another mutt who cannot seem to mind her own business. So you have come to mind my family's business now? Su Qing had an affair with your husband and you still protect her?"

Yang Shi wanted so much to punch her in the face. "How could you insult your daughter-in-law like that?"

"Hmph, you are much too nosey! She is my daughter-in-law, I will deal with her as I like, what's it got to do with you, you infertile chicken? If you are so amazing, go and lay an egg for me to see! Peh!"

Yang Shi had been married for more than a decade, yet, she did not have a single child. This hurt her deeply. Now, Li Shi used this to attack her, causing her face to go green.

Mu Yunyao quickly grabbed Yang Shi's hand and said, "Auntie, Grandma she……she has wronged you. I think it would be better for you to return first."

It was a while before Yang Shi calmed down. "Yunyao, you……the both of you should not be so patient. Even though this is your family matter, but I still think that she is too much."

She glanced at Li Shi's wound. It was very carefully taken care of. To add on to that, Yunyao had even woke up early to climb the mountain to pick herbs for Li Shi. She is so filial, yet she has this old hag as her Grandma!

Mu Yunyao bit her lip, her eyes were filled with pain. "Father once said, our family's problems must not be known by the outside, so……"

Seeing her like this, Yang Shi's hearted pained for her. "Haaaa, you ah, go and get a change of clothes, be careful not to fall sick."

"Thank you Auntie."

"Haha," Mu Yunyao laughed, her voice was clear and bright, yet it had a hint of hatred. "Till now, you still are unaware of your situation. I am the knife while you are the fish. If I wanted to kill you, it would be as easy as squishing an ant."

"Calm down, I'm not yet done with Zhang Caizhu, so you are still safe."

Li Shi swallowed and stared hard at Su Qing. "You unlucky thing, why are you not holding her back?"

Mu Yunyao's heart trembled a little. She quickly turned to Su Qing. The hate in her heart was too strong and made her forget to care for her Mother's feelings. Would Mother hate her?

Seeing Mu Yunyao's begging gaze, Su Qing's heart melted. "Yao Er had always been pure and kind, it was all your fault for making her do things like this. Yao Er, don't be afraid, Mother supports you. No matter what you do, Mother will always support you."

(T/N: I kinda wish my Mom would say that when she sees my grades……ok sorry, moving on.)

Mu Yunyao leapt into Su Qing's embrace and cuddled her happily. Her embrace was so warm and soft, she felt like she would accept her everything. "Mother, I'm so happy you're here."

"Silly child."

Yang Shi came out of the house crying, raising many people's attention. When they found out what happened, the hatred against Li Shi rose even further. It was not as if there weren't any difficult people in the village. But as difficult as Li Shi? No, she was the only one.

At the other side, Zhang Caizhu was very anxious. He had already made a deal with Li Shi to buy Su Qing and Mu Yunyao. But after a good night's sleep, he woke up to find out that the Mu's house had burnt to the ground and Li Shi's leg was broken. Did that not just mean that his plan will fail!

As he walked in circles, the butler Dingshan walked up to him, his hand holding a piece of paper. "Sir, quick, look!"

"Tonight, at the west house. The sender is Shiso……What does Shiso mean?" Zhang Caizhu furrowed his eyebrows.

"Shiso……ah! It's Su! Sir, this must have been sent by Miss Su……"

(T/N: Ok so Shiso is another name for beefsteak plant. I couldn't bring myself to put in the term beefsteak plant. The original name of the sender was 桂荏 "Gui ren". I don't really get why but this "Gui ren" come with the word "Su". I'm sorry, but the site that explained this, explained in such a way that it sounded like a poem and I couldn't understand a thing. I'm not sure if this sounds familiar but this is a case of "I understand every single word yet when they are put together in a sentence, I cannot seem to understand it." Sorry. My Chinese is terrible. )

When he heard Su Qing, Zhang Caizhu immediately smiled. "It must be, it must be." When he thought of Su Qing's soft and gentle look, he felt saliva dripping out of his mouth. And that Mu Yunyao, that skin of hers, it was even softer and juicier than tofu……

"Zishi, Zishi, go and get my best clothes, tonight will be a happy night!"

Mu Yunyao carefully grinded the herbs into powder and carefully wrapped it up with a handkerchief.

"Yao Er, what are you doing?" Su Qing stared at the herbs on the floor. She had never seen these species before.

Su Qing boiled half a cabbage and a noodle pancake. It was not particularly delicious, but Mu Yunyao ate heartily. Her mood was extremely good. Even if Su Qing gave her sandstone, she would still eat everything.

When she made sure the temperature was comfortable, she then stood up and straightened her clothes. She walked into the main room and waited for Zhang caizhu.

As it got later, the village became very quiet. There was only the occasional bark from a mutt.

That was when two dark figures slowly closed in on Li Shi's home.

Caizhu Zhang Yongan stood at the door. To give himself a certain aura, he specially copied the the gentlemen from the city, one hand holding a fan. The butler Dingshan gently pushed the door open. The door opened with a creak.

(T/N: Zhang Caizhu's name is Zhang Yongan. "Yongan" 永安 meaning "forever peace". -_-)

Zhang Yongan laughed soundlessly. She really was waiting for him. He had always thought that Su Qing was a very reserved and modest woman, looks that that is not the case!

The courtyard was quiet. There was only the soft yellow light coming from inside the house. Zhang Yongan gestured the butler Dingshan to wait at the door. He went up the door and said, "Beauty, I have received your invitation and thus I have come to you."

Under the light, Mu Yunyao slowly opened her eyes, her long lashes cast a shadow on her face. "Come in."

Zhang Yongan hurriedly opened the door. When he saw Mu Yunyao, he froze. The smile on his face became wider. "Oh, it's a little beauty."

In the day, Mu Yunyao had used an egg to massage her face, causing the bruises on her face to fade away. She had also applied medicine. Now, her face was mostly healed. Only the scar from the cut she made with the ceramic shard remained. This scar did not destroy her beauty; it only just added a pitiful aura to her.

Under the light, her eyes were clear, her lips were pink and she looked soft and fragile. She seemed so much like a succubus.

Zhang Yongan eyes were completely drawn to her.

"Zhang Caizhu's clothes are especially nice today." It totally looks good enough for his funeral.

"If this little beauty likes it, I can wear it everyday for you to see." Zhang Yongan walked up and caressed Mu Yunyao's hand, but she responded by throwing a handkerchief onto his face.

Mu Yunyao stood up. She reached under the table and pulled out a bat and hit Zhang Caizhu's head hard!

"Ping!" With the bat, even if Mu Yunyao used little strength, it would still have been enough to cause him to faint.

"Sir, are you alright?" Dingshan's voiced sounded out from the door.

When she got rid of the bat, Mu Yunyao took out the dagger. The dagger was the dagger that she had stolen from Yue Wang. She slowly walked towards Dingshan and plunged it into his heart!
