A few seconds after I left Gordo forest, I started to run toward Forxx at full speed, and that's when I noticed something peculiar.

“Hmm? My running speed seems to be rising steadily.”

That’s right, my running speed has risen quite quickly compared to when I came here this morning. If it’s like this, then it will probably not even take three minutes before I reach Forxx.
However, the sudden 40 level increase is still weighing on me, I feel like there is something different in my body, but I guess this is to be expected.

Come to think of it, the fact that my agility has increased is true, and it’s the same for Strength and Endurance as well. I don’t know how much Endurance will increase, but I wish I could increase my Strength control. Why? That’s because my Strength now exceeds a Cyclops. If I don’t carefully exert my power, then I might end up breaking many things, I have to quickly get used to controlling it.

While I was thinking about that, I arrived at the city gates of Forxx in the blink of an eye.

And then, the usual Gatekeeper spoke with a slightly surprised voice.

“Yuma-sama, welcome back, you possess tremendous speed as usual. I have been a Gatekeeper for several years, but I have never seen a human run at such high speeds.”

“Ha, ha, since I was able to successfully complete the request, I just got a little carried away while I was running.”

“Oh, then that means that you were able to safely take down a Golden Rabbitsu. Congratulations!”

“Thank you very much. Really though, it was quite hard trying to find it.”

“That is unavoidable, the Golden Rabbitsu is a monster that is extremely difficult to find. Yuma-san is very lucky to have been able to find it within a day.”

Hmm, it seems that I was indeed really lucky. Is this because of my really high Luck stat?

“I see, well, I guess that is fortunate. I should report this to the guild soon then, i’ll take my leave now.”

I then entered the gate into Forxx.

Ok, I guess I should report to the guild first, which is what I thought while walking there.

I arrived safely at the guild after walking for a few minutes, and entered the guild while opening the door. When I heard,

“Oh? Aniki! You have already returned.”

Saying so, Marubuta came toward me, he seems to be quite agile as usual.

“Aniki, you took the request for the Golden Rabbitsu today, right? How did it go?”

“Ah, it was successfully completed.”

“Oo, as expected of Aniki. You're amazing! You are the best!”

“Ah, thank you very much, Marubuta. Come to think of it, what did you do today Marubuta? Did you not go anywhere on a request?”

“Me? I was teaching the Newbie-Adventurer’s on how to hunt today.”

What….did you say? Marubuta was helping out the Newbie-Adventurer’s out of goodwill, I can’t believe my ears! Isn’t this too much of a change from being that PIG!?

Well, all the jokes aside, Marubata has changed. When I first met him he behaved like a thug. I did hear the recent stories from Iguru about how he was fighting against the monsters while protecting his allies on the first day of the clean-up operation, he was doing his best….

Although it’s sad, there are a lot of people who judge Marubuta just by his looks. Nevertheless, the other adventurers are slowly opening up to him from his achievements in the clean-up operation.

“Hey, Marubuta, keep improving just like this. Someday, everyone will accept you for who you are….”

“YES! Since Aniki said so, i’ll work even harder than before.”

“We, Well~, ho, ho, ho, of course. Then, I will go report to Meru-san, see you again later,  Marubuta.”

“Understood!!”

I then parted ways with Marubuta, and headed to Meru-san’s reception desk to report the completed request. I then heard,

“Good evening, Meru-san, I came here to report on the successful completion of my request.”

When I said that, Meru-san was more shocked than usual.

“HAAA~, Yuma, you are truly something else entirely. I would have never imagined that you would be able to complete this request within a day no less.”

“Ha ha, I was just a little bit lucky.”

“I don’t think these are the kind of things that you can complete with just good luck alone. Well, i’ll leave it at that. Congratulations, Yuma-kun. Could you please show me the proof for the subjugation of the Golden Rabbitsu?”

And so, I took out it’s corpse from my Item Box, and handed it over to Meru-san.

“There is no doubt judging from it’s golden body alone, but it has truly been awhile since I saw one of these before. Then, since the request was for the collection of Materials from the Golden Rabbitsu, I shall keep it here for safekeeping. The payment for this request will be given now, and the payment for its raw materials will be provided at a later date.”

“Understood!”

“Then, I shall give you the rewards for the request. Here, please take this.”

When I accepted the bag provided by Meru-san, I looked into the contents of the bag, there was quite a considerable amount of Gold coins, and quite a few white Gold coins as well.

“Thank you very much. Then, i’ll excuse myself with this.”

I then left Meru-san’s counter, and left the guild.

Now then, I don’t have anything else to do for today, so I guess I should return to Zinnia. “Yuma-san! Welcome Home! You are a little late than usual today.”

Saying so, Sari came over, and just like usual, I started to stroke Sari’s head.

“I’m home, Sari. I was out trying to find a troublesome monster today, that’s why I am late.”

“Is that so? I was little worried since I thought that you might have been injured, but if it’s like that, then it’s a good thing.”

Oops, it seems that I might have made Sari worry a little. I should make sure not to be late from now on.

“Then, Yuma-san, since dinner is still a little while away, it’s almost time for me to start preparing for it as well. And also….”

“Ah, sorry about that.”

This is bad. I was completely immersed in stroking Sari’s head.

“N-No, Yuma-san has excellent head stroking skills, I would rather like for you to continue to do this forever, but I still have to prepare dinner, so I shall take my leave now.”

Saying so, Sari ran toward the kitchen, she is truly a cute girl.

Well then, I guess I should return to my room for now. And so; I headed up the stairs, entered into my room, and lied down on the bed.

“Fuu~, as I thought, I definitely can’t calm down unless I come back to Zinnia.”

Now then, I guess I should just take a nap until dinner time.

When I closed my eyes, I remembered the things that happened in the guild.

Marubuta was trying really hard to reform himself. I wanted to tell him, ‘YOU CAN DO IT’…….. Marubuta could achieve more if he tried a little harder, but if Marubata was to ever face problems, then I will make sure to take care of them with my full power to end it in a jiffy.

Well~, I guess i'm getting softer toward Marubuta without even knowing myself, guess it can’t be helped.

Helping a Younger Brother is what a Older Brother should do.

While I was thinking about such things, I spent my time taking a nap and relaxing.
