Xu Liao crossed his legs as he sat on the floor. Countless of profound formulas flashed on the projection that was hovering in front of him. Only when the full series of the <> hovered in the middle of the screen would Xu Liao stop scrolling.

The dark demonic energy swirled unstably, forming seven to eight pitch black whips flicking endlessly in all directions as it tried to break through the third form of the Shadowless Whip Technique.

The Shadowless Whip Technique consists of eighteen forms, with a total of nine levels. Mastering each two forms will allow one to raise a level. The levels are divided into: Ju San, Duan Chang, Gang Rou, Hua Shi, Qi Xue, Xu Shi, Yin Yang, You Xian and Jie Xian.

Perhaps it’s due to fate or luck, Xu Liao slayed the demonic tree and received the Shadowless Whip Technique. From that point of time until now, he had already cultivated four forms, which equals to two changes in levels. Because of that, he could extend and retract the shadowless whip as easily as breathing. The young man suddenly shot upright and started hovering in mid air. He then casually swung his arm in an arc which caused a demonic whip to emerge out of thin air.

A belt-like whip sound pierced through the air as a nearby tree suddenly exploded from within. If one looked closely, the demonic whip had penetrated the tree – and the high frequency vibration that flowed from the whip caused it to explode into tiny splinters that shot in every direction.

Xu Liao made a victory pose as he swished his whip in an elegant manner before keeping it. A wide smirk can be seen on his face, clearly he was very satisfied with the power of the Shadowless Whip Technique. Previously, he had only mastered up to the fourth form, but now, just within a short period of time he had went up two forms and reached the third level – Gang Rou.

“The speed of practice of Demonic Qi is slower than the Aura Qi, but since I have the Emperor’s Stream Serum as my base, this weakness is practically nullified. “ Xu Liao nodded silently to himself with satisfaction.

But Xu Liao’s face then changed slightly. “But the only problem is …. Sun Bo Fang had already cultivated this technique for at least ten years … Whereas for me, I had only a few days of practice.”

With that thought, Xu Liao clenched his fists and sharpened his gaze as he immediately dived into cultivating the seventh form.

After entering the Emperor Court so many times, he already knew that time passes a twentieth here when compared to the real world. In other words, when an hour passed in the real world, in the Emperor Court twenty hours would have passed.

If not for this time discrepancy, Xu Liao could not afford to mess around in the Emperor Court while still managing to attend school and register for attendance at home.

Suddenly, halfway through the air, he suddenly felt a cold snap in the air. All of the hairs on his body stiffened due to the steep drop in temperature.

He twisted his head and spotted a petite looking maiden dressed in a white samurai clothing smiling at him. On her back, there was a profound-looking black sword that was far taller than her.

The maiden with the black sword then tapped his shoulders with her white, slender arms as if they were already very close and spoke in a cheeky tone.

“I know you! You are the guy who mixed around with Sun Bo Fang!”

The maiden’s voice was soft and sweet, but Xu Liao felt a chill down his spine.

Firstly, he was still halfway in the air. Secondly, he was still shrouded within his dark aura!

This maiden could actually tap on his shoulder while his ability was active! Xu Liao was innately shocked. His ability to phase through objects had already exceeded Xu Liao’s experiences, but the little hand that tapped on his shoulder further exceeded his experiences and it felt like it was a thousand years old demon’s claw. “I am also part of the Eighteen Xian Faction, but I’m not in the same Sect as Sun Bo Fang, We, the West Kunlun Sect is the strongest Sect in the Eighteen Xian Faction. In the future, if you can’t mix around with Sun Bo Fang any longer, you can mix with me!”

Before even waiting for Xu Liao to reply, the maiden’s body flickered slightly and slithered away as she disappeared in a flash. She disappeared as quickly as she had appeared. Although Xu Liao had recently raised his power, which caused his eyesight and reflexes to improve tremendously, he still couldn’t catch a glimpse of how the maiden departed.

Xu Liao was in such a shock from this mysterious maiden from the West Kunlun Sect that he forgotten that he was plunging from a high building. Before he realized, it was too late. His body that was shrouded with dark demonic energy passed through the cement on the ground and sank into the ground for over ten meters. Xu Liao smiled embarrassingly to himself as he pulled himself back up to the surface.

“How did I stir reaction from someone from the West Kunlun Sect? The Four Xian Factions that participated in the restructuring the Emperor Court were only the Longevity Sect, East Heaven Sect, Myth, and Yuan Shi Men. The West Kunlun Sect did not participate at all!” A complicated look flashed on Xu Liao’s face as he thought hard on how he might have attracted their attention.

Xu Liao’s dark demonic energy returned into his body and reformed his flesh. As of now, he could effectively manipulate the dark demonic energy to regain his human form with the <>. Thus, with just a thought his flesh could be formed within a second.

Xu Liao then confirmed his bearings and started running. His speed had further improved, now it was even faster than the land’s fastest animal, the cheetah, by over thirty percent! His speed can reach up to 150km/h. As his speed grew, his endurance also grew alongside. He could maintain this speed for more than thirty minutes. At most, the cheetahs can only maintain its max speed for one minute.

Manoeuvring the corners and turns, sometimes he ran past empty streets, sometimes he ran past busy streets with cars, but he didn’t care and just continued to run past all of them. He didn’t even care if the drivers spotted him overtaking them and making them suspect that had seen a ghost!”
