"Yeah?" Huo Mian didn't provide much of a reaction since she didn't think Su Yu being set up was news . Plus… being set up was a deal Su Yu made with his grandpa in exchange for the army surgeon, and Huo Mian had been feeling bad about that .
"Aren't you curious? Don't you want to go check her out?"
"Why would I be curious?"
"The woman he's being set up with works at the First Hospital . She's a doctor, just like you," Jiang Xiaowei gossiped, and Huo Mian couldn't help but laugh, "There are a lot of doctors at the First Hospital and I barely know any of them . Why would I be curious?"
"You have a point there… but I think it's interesting, I wonder what Su Yu is like during a set-up date, I bet it's really funny . "
After a brief conversation with Jiang Xiaowei, Huo Mian didn't think too much about it and went back to work .
- First Hospital Outpatient Pediatric Clinic -
Su Yu was told to meet his date here; heavens knew that he hated these arranged dates, but he didn't have a choice since he made a deal with his grandpa .
He had to be a man of his words, or else his grandpa would never trust him again .
Su Yu drove his black Lamborghini to the First Hospital; he was glad that they weren't meeting at South Side, or else he might've died from awkwardness if he bumped into Huo Mian .
- Outpatient Pediatric Clinic -
"You have to line up to see a doctor…" a young female doctor said impatiently, and Su Yu replied, "No, I'm looking for someone . "
"Who are you looking for?" The female doctor looked up, and Su Yu touched his nose awkwardly, "What's her name again? Sun something Ting, Sun Tingting?"
Su Yu vaguely remembered that this woman was his mother's friend's niece . Apparently, she graduated with honors from Jing University Medical School and currently worked as a pediatric doctor at the First Hospital . Her family was in the timber business, and quite well-off . Although Su Yu's family was somewhat out of her family's league, at least she had a clean background .
Too bad Su Yu wasn't interested in timber, socialites, or straight-A students .
The only thing that interested him was the fact that she was a doctor . Truth be told, he often wondered if all doctors were like Huo Mian, or if only Huo Mian was like Huo Mian .
Therefore, he obediently came to meet this woman out of curiosity as well as respect for the deal he made with his grandfather .
"Sun Yating," the female doctor corrected him .
"Right right, Sun Yating," Su Yu suddenly remembered her name and gazed into the outpatient office . "Where is she right now?"
"You don't have to look for her, I'm her," the doctor said as she removed her mask, and Su Yu was immediately petrified…
What a coincidence, the first person he saw was the one he was supposed to meet .
"Um…" Su Yu awkwardly rubbed his forehead, and the female doctor looked up and asked him, "Are you Su Yu?"
"I am . " He nodded .
After making sure who he was, the female doctor's attitude became much better . She smiled, "Sorry about before, there are too many patients here, that's why I sounded a little impatient . Let's talk somewhere else more private . "
The doctor then took Su Yu to the First Hospital's backyard . There weren't a lot of people, making it a perfect place for talking .
Su Yu glanced at the woman standing in front of him – she was pretty, had a good figure, was about 165 cm tall, and had an extremely fair complexion .
For some reason, however, Su Yu didn't like her .
She was just incomparable to Huo Mian . . .
"I heard that you own an entertainment company, I don't really pay attention to the entertainment industry, so I don't know much about it…" the female doctor initiated the conversation with him, and he nodded . "Yeah . "
