Getting up in a jump, Hammed stepped back, guarding Luke, that was still unconscious. The little beast felt surprised by his sudden move and dashed away from Hammed.

Its little body was filled with pure white scales, and had a mysterious shiny glow. The body-shape resembled that of a dragon, but much smaller, being only about 30 cm tall. Probably, this tiny fellow was just a new born. Getting closer to Hammed again, it looked at him with his cute little eyes.

Hammed was at a lost about what kind of beast this little fellow was. However, seeing that it didn't have any bad intentions towards him and Luke, he didn't scar it away. In no time, the little dragon was caressing his leg with his head, like if Hammed was its family.

"Little friend, I wonder from where you came from... appearing alone within this darkness," Hammed thought out loud.

But what happened next was surprising... the little dragon looked at him as if he understood Hammed's question. Nodding at him, he started moving in the darkness, turning around some meters later, as if telling Hammed to follow him!

"You have to be kidding me... he seriously understood what I said!? What a mysterious fellow..."

Thinking for a while, Hammed got to a conclusion... he was lost in midst of this darkness, without knowing where to go. Also, Luke was in a bad condition and need a descent treatment... If this strange little dragon got here, he had to come from somewhere!

As so, Hammed supported Luke on him shoulder and turned back to the little dragon.

"Show me the way, little friend,"

The little white dragon left out a happy growl, as he dashed into the darkness. The good thing was that Hammed could see his peculiar glow from far, and didn't get lost. He followed the little beast from some time, taking Luke together with him.

As he walked, Hammed started to think about his escape from the wolf-beasts, and something just didn't make sense to him... If those monsters had an infinite recovery ability, why they stopped advancing when arriving at the hole, and didn't jump behind them in their pursuit?

As he was lost in his thoughts, the little dragon finally came to a halt, standing in front a stone tablet. The stone was light-gray and looked very ordinary from afar. However, when looking closer, there were some ancient scriptures craved on its surface, and a strong aura of Karma Law could be felt.

With an astounded expression, Hammed laid Luke carefully on the ground and got closer to it. But now, he learned his lesson with those wolf-beast and didn't be so careless in touching the unknown stone tablet.

Using his normal eyes, it was impossible to read the runes, as they were in constant and infinite movement, floating pass each other. Though the movements were very simple, they emanated a profound and boundless meaning.

Obviously, the expert that left the tablet there was a peerless master at the Karma Law. Him or she were definitely a powerhouse above the Title God Realm, if it was really a expert that created it...Hammed had his doubts!

This because, when he got closer, a strange resonance formed between it and his Infinite Law. If Hammed had to guess about the tablet's origins, he was eighty percent sure that it was a Divine Manifestation! Such thing was only heard in legends from ancient times, when the Gods were still in the Dark Era of their cultivation story and the Beast Races ruled the universe.

A Divine Manifestation was a Divine-Level Comprehension-type Artifact created by the Heavens itself! They were formed from the solidification of Laws. Hammed sat down in front of the Stone tablet, facing it with curious eyes. To start his cultivation, he summoned the Evil God Eyes.

With them, everything slowed down, making it possible to Hammed start "seeing the truth" behind it.

As he kept trying to read it, a few hours passed by in a flash. Finally, after almost a day of cultivation, Hammed's eyes shined in enlightenment...

Before he realized, everything went blank, as an illusional dream fell upon him. In this strange mental realm, Hammed wandered through a white room, like a desolate soul.

His surrounding were dead silent, and nothing could be seen, just an infinite blank space. However, when Hammed was immersed in a strange state, with a blink of eyes, he appeared in a very familiar place... Boston, Earth!

Looking around, he noticed that he was still a new born, laid on a little bed.

However, his life passed at a fast pace, showing him growing up, entering school, finishing college, becoming a famous scientist, and further on, until his peaceful death by natural causes.

But when he closed his eyes...once more was in a different place. This was a strange Realm, dominated by a peculiar Beast Race. As before, he saw all his life pass by. In this life, he was a beast soldier, that through hard work, became a general!

But death came to him again, this time in a much painful way. A strange thing was that Hammed's "soul" felt everything the body was feeling.

As so, Hammed passed through countless lives, and experienced all types of lifestyles. Once, he was a fisherman; then a scholar; a teacher; an Emperor; ...

He passed through rivers of glory, massive pain and learned a lot about life and death.

To Hammed, it was like an eternity. Time was so messed up he didn't even know the duration of the dream.

Some days later, Luke recovered a bit and woke up in a jump.

"Where am l !!?"

However, seeing Hammed seated by his side, facing a mysterious stone tablet in deep cultivation, he calmed down.

Also, laid in front of Hammed was a cute looking little dragon, silently asleep.

"What a cute beast..."

Luke got up and walked to where Hammed was seated. However, when he saw the stone tablet, his Karma Law felt a perturbation...

Its trunk was light-gray color and the leaves were painted in a mix of green and scarlet. Obviously, this was a maturing Demonic Space Primordial Tree. Normally, it would take quadrillion years for it to fully mature...

It was here where the Shaman God Empire entered. With help from the demons, they passed trillions of years low-key in the Realm, gathering rare and unique resources.

With them, in just some trillion years, and the tree was almost mature and it would not take long to link the two realms once more!

Above its leaves, a huge portal was floating, filled with a mysterious black mist. In front of the tree, two mid-aged men were standing.

"Big Brother, today is the big day!!"

"Yes, it is! Today, we shall start testing out our plans!!"

Obviously, these were the previous Shaman God Emperor, and his younger brother, the actual Great Elder of the Empire.

The Old Emperor stepped ahead, standing in the middle of a strange altar at the tree's base.

"Please accept my blood sacrifice, Demonic Space Primordial Tree!!"

Then, he cut his pulse, and a dark-black blood fell from it, dropping at the ground and being absorbed by it...

A few silent moments later, the huge tree started glowing and forming a intense space distortion inside the floating portal.

Suddenly, a loud explosion could be heard, as the dark stone portal ripped space itself.

The distortion floated in the sky, alternating between a black and red color for some time.

Then, at the middle of the portal, a big scarlet arm appeared. However, as the mysterious figures was about to get into the realm, the portal colapsed and the hole in space dissapeared in thin air.

"Dam it!! It was so close!"

As the Great Elder expressed his anger, the Emperor remained calm.
