A sudden gale blew, followed by thunder. Yan Fu's heart seized and turned to look back. He saw a man with wings of lightning charging for him.

Shuddering, Vicious Pill King started moving and got up. His mind in a panic, his hazy eyes looked around, “Where… am I?”

But all he managed to do was send Yan Song into a shivering fit. He staggered backward, to get some to a safe distance from him.

“Nice, prideful. I just love your attitude. At least this way, you'll get to make plenty of pills!” Zhuo Fan condescended, adding a thumbs up for good measure, “Sigh, guess I can't force you!”

Startled, Vicious Pill King was puzzled. [I refused yet he's not one bit angry? He gave up too easily! This is not how the usual demon acts.]

“Zhuo Fan, you won't try to persuade me?”

“What would be the point? I said all I had to say already. It's fine as long as you understand!” Zhuo Fan smiled like a good chap.

But then his hand made a sign.

In a blink, a bloody mark appeared on Vicious Pill King's forehead, causing his blood to boil. He felt his head exploding, that it was slowly cracking itself open.

Vicious Pill King held his head and rolled on the ground from the torture. Blood seeped from his mouth, ears, nose, and eyes.

“Zhuo Fan, what the hell did you do to me?” Vicious Pill King's eyes bulged out, ready to explode.

In all his years, he had never endured such excruciating pain. Even the poisons he made paled in comparison to the torture this suffering brought about.
