Lumia: Other World 30 Enemy reinforcemen

The sound of the horn enveloped the surrounding. They nearly panicked, Kael looted the barbarian bandits and has looted ten gold coins.

The sound of the bandits is getting nearer and nearer.

"They have reinforcement this fast?", Fred asked his self.

"Kill them!", shouted their leader.

Arrows rained in the air.

"Shields!", Kael shouted.

Kael grabbed as well as others grabbed the shields of the ones they killed. He lifted his shield and arrows rained in their shields.

Tok! Tok! Tok!

Kael blocked some incoming arrows but he received an arrow in his foot. The arrows stopped and the Bandits charged towards them.

Nguk!

He exclaimed as he pulled out the arrow that has stuck on his foot.

He gulped a health potion to heal himself.

"Let's retreat!", shouted Fred.

"Kael and other shield bearers cover; As for non-shield bearers retreat!", he commanded.

Johansenn and the Captain retreated and Kael, Fred, and Estes cover them.

They are lifting their shields as they walk backward to retreat.

Tok! Tok! Tok! Tok! Tok!

Johansenn shouted, "we're cornered!". He saw that there were also bandits at the entrance of the cave.

"Regroup!", Fred shouted again.

They regrouped and they were surrounded.

"Let's fight our way through!", the Captain shouted.

Kael was lifting his shield and then the barbarians assaulted. All of them were numbered fifty. More than the double amount of their past enemy.

They shoulder charged their defense and the shield bearers were struck by their big body. Kael was thrown off due to his small body.

The barbarians have a two-handed axe and they have a chest plate made of iron. Some have big shields and a two-handed sword on the other hand.

"They can one hand the two-handed weapon?", Kael questioned.

They were thrown to the ground and Kael immediately stands up. Estes was a bit dizzy due to his face was hit by his own shield when he was struck.

Fred managed to be pushed but not being thrown. The enemy slammed their axe. Fred's shield was hammered and his arms almost break. He used his "shield charge" to his enemy but it has no effect. The enemy slashed his two-handed axe to Fred and he was slashed in the chest.

"Fred!!!", Kael shouted

Estes was infuriated and used his trump card.

"Divine armor"

This paladin skill can make the user as hard as iron for ten seconds. His defense shoot up higher and then he charged to the one who injured Fred. He slammed his hammer and shield slammed his enemy.

The captain used his Berserk and his attack speed shoots up. He double slashed his enemy at the front and repeats it.

Kael on the contrary used his "strength potion". He used it to rival the strength of the barbarians. It has a thirty seconds effect and Kael clashed with the others.

Due to his mastery of the swords, he can fight toe to toe with them. Estes was struck with two-handed axes and his shield was battered.

Johansenn on the contrary picked up a bow and arrows. He fired them to the enemies. He killed two immediately.

Fred was bloody and his chest plate armor was slashed through by the two-handed axe. Kael gave him a health potion to take.

He drank it and throws the bottle. His wounds healed and then he gets back up. Estes' buff was fading and he was battered.

The barbarian used his skill and Estes' shield broke to pieces.

Two "two-handed slash" cleaved through Estes's armor and he was down. The captain launched his "fury" skill and killed seven.

Johansenn evades and fires his arrows. He killed three and then used his skill "rapid shot".

Chuk! chuk! chuk!

He struck three barbarians that were aiming for his teammates.

Kael slammed his sword to one of the two hander wielders. He was able to stop the strike and he immediately slashed him in the waist.

He slashed one after another. He charges towards the fray. He aims to kill the leader but he finds it difficult to do it.

The captain overwhelms his enemies and he killed his way through. He kicked one and then shoulder charges them. Johansenn has run out of ammo. He then used his skill "arrow recall". His arrows then came back to him. Johansenn fires his arrows by using "rapid shot".

He killed another five, Kael was still rushing but he retreated due to the barrage of slashes he was fending off.

"I can't really imagine how can we survive this.", Kael said in his self.

Estes was down and then Kael gave him a health potion. Only one health potion was left. The barbarian captain was killing his way through but the leader of the bandits jumped in his direction.

"So you've decided to show yourself!", said the barbarian captain.

They clashed and the bandit leader slammed his two-handed axe. The captain blocked it but the bandit leader kicked him. He was thrown to the ground. Estes who was recently injured attacked together with Fred.

The bandit leader used his skill and he rammed their shields.

Their arms almost broke and they were thrown by the blow. Fred and Estes again stood up and attacked but their shields were shattered by his "two-handed slash".

Johansenn rapidly fired at him but he blocked them with his axe. Kael charges at him and slashed him. His sword slides in his axe and slashed him at his waist.

"Huh! you want to slash my armor? You might die trying!", he exclaimed loudly.

Kael retreated and then drank another strength potion. The strength potion that he drank earlier was fading.

He charges and then Fred, Estes, and the captain launched their attacks too. Kael clashed his sword with his axe and then Fred launched his skill "piercing charge" and Estes used his skill "hammer slam".

Estes combined their attacks but it was for naught. He evaded them all and then he used his skill "two-handed cleave". He hits them all including Kael.

Kael's leather armor was hit and it was damaged severely. He felt that his chest was bleeding so he drank his last health potion. Fred and Estes were thrown by the cleave but were unharmed; only dizzy for a bit.

Kael and the others were lying on the ground and were helplessly getting up. Kael thrusts his sword to the ground to get up and he stood as well as the others.

"Is that all? We've come to this camp to see who's attacking us but in my dismay, it was all amateurs. Don't worry, your death will be painless.", he said to them.

He lifts his axe high and aims to Kael.

Chok!

An arrow hits his back and thus he looked to where it came from.

"Sneaky bastard! I'm gonna butcher you to pieces!" he said to Johansenn as he turned around.

He was aiming to Johansenn and charges to him but he heard a loud horn.

Trrooooooootttttt!!!

"The reinforcement!", The captain said.

The kingdom soldiers arrived with a flag they are waving.
