He grabbed his backpack, then left the combat aptitude testing area. He walks to the exit gate, opening it.
Creak!
The gate produced an irking sound, then he saw Kelvin outside.
"Hey! You've been finished as well?", said Kael.
"Yeah! So how is it?", Kelvin asked.
"He's tough! Beware because he's a fighter!", Kael said.
"Really! Then wish me luck! I will go now!", Kelvin said to him then walked inside.
Kael then walked towards the knowledge aptitude test, then opened the gate. He saw an office that had books and a desk on the center, the room was arranged by an interior designer and a bit luxurious on sight.
The proctor was wearing also a formal suit and has a name engraved on his desk that says, "Ronald Herts, Knowledge aptitude proctor"
Kael approached him and then the proctor spoke.
"Please have a seat, Sir. May I have your form?", he said.
"Here, Sir", Kael said as he handed it to Sir Ronald.
Sir Ronald recieved it and then reads his name.
"Kael Melvin, nice name! I will test all knowledge that you know and for that I will just verify it with my "truth detector", at least recite your knowledge and say it out loud in front of me and if the truth detector confirms your honesty then I will include it to your knowledge skills. I will activate first the truth detector then you can recite. You got it?", he asked.
"Yes sir!", Kael said cheerfully.
"Okay good! now let's start! truth detector activate!", he said then the device glowed .
"Okay I will start! I have knowledge about enchanting, monster almanac, mana cultivation, Lumian races, blacksmithing, crafting, herbalist, survival, and alchemy that is all", he said.
He clapped his hands then he smiled.
"Deactivate!", he commanded the device.
"Okay since the truth device didn't reacted, then your recited knowledge will be put to your list", he said then writes his skills to the knowledge lists.
He handed the form and then Kael watched his knowledge list has been filled up.

"Congrats! you're a genius! You're a one in a thousand! No! In a million!", Ronald exclaimed.
"It's not that I'm a genius, but I am only reading ever since I've learned to read. Anyways thank you sir! I will go now to the focus aptitude test and finish this exam", Kael said.
He held his form and happily looking at it. He exits the gate then heard loud banging sounds in the combat testing grounds, he then thought that it is Kelvin that's fighting behind it.
Bang! bang! bang!
"I wonder what's going on behind it?", he said then entered the focus aptitude testing building.
The inside of the building is empty with just torches on the walls with a large magical device in the center. There's the proctor that was sitting in her desk beside the magical device. The magical device was like a small pillar, then has a floating round glass on top of it. The proctor was a middle-aged woman, who had a white hair that is combed perfectly. She had a white suite and a white hat on the top of her head.
"Hand me the form please", she said monotonously.
"Here ma'am", Kael said as he handed the form.
"Kael Melvin yes? Hmm, you actually have decent fighting capability. Well there's a genious recently who has fifty in his focus aptitude. He can be a good mage or skiller in the future. Can you overcome him?", she said while raising her eyebrows.
"Does she want to challenge me to overcome whoever that person is?", he said in his mind while grinning.
"Yes ma'am, I will try my best", Kael said as he bows down.
"Trying your best now is not enough to make your results change even a bit. Now now! Let's go to the focus measurement device and then see your potential, shall we?", she said then she walks beside the device.
"Place your hands on the round glass and then focus yourself to apply mana to the orb, it will create a floating number after you focused until your limits and then we are finished! simple isn't it?", she said.
"I'm gonna put my hands and then focus? Okay, that's simple!", he said.
Kael puts it in the floating glass and then focused.
"Focus, focus. All you have to do is empty your mind and let out your mana", she instructed him.
Kael applied his mana and the orb is slowly glowing.
"Splendid! Now continue to apply mana", she instructed him.
Kael applied mana and the numbers are going up.
"Twenty-nine, thirty-five, fifty-two, sixty-seven! seventy-five! you have seventy-five points for the focus aptitude! I will write it immediately!", she said then hurriedly writes it to his form.
She sits down and then looked to Kael seriuosly while she puts her hands together.
"Why is she looking at me like that? Is there something wrong with seventy-five?", he said in his mind.
"Let me tell you why focus is made to be a single test while the strength, dexterity, and vitality is put to only one test. Why? Because focus is influencing your mana points, magic damage, mana regeneration, skill cooldown, slight increase on dexterity, and casting speed. Your strength is influencing your physical damage and critical damage, as well as slight increase on vitality. Your dexterity is influencing your evasion, critical chance, movement speed and attack speed, and accuracy. While vitality is your health points, health regeneration, stamina, and resistances. Strength, vitality, and dexterity can be measured by window eyeglass but focus measurement device can only measure your focus. Now you understand?", she explained
"Yes ma'am, thank you for that knowledge", Kael said to her.
"Tsk! Don't thank me yet kid! It's just the basics of basics", she said.
"Here's your form, then give it to the receptionist who gave you this form beforehand. She's waiting there. Now hurry up, because there's still many who wants to take the tests", she said.
Kael took his form and then his focus has a seventy-five points written in it.

He walks outside, then he saw that Kelvin was also finished.
"Hey are you finished? let's go!", Kael said to Kelvin.
They headed back inside, then saw a big difference from before. They saw larger quantity of adventurers in the hall.
The both of them went through the crowd and then succesfully arrived to the receptionist from before.
"Here is our forms ma'am!", Kael said to her sa he gave their forms to her
The receptionist glanced at their forms and said, "As expected to young brats that has weak stats!"
Kael and Mael looked at each other and smiled. She nearly crumpled their forms but she looked again.
"Whoa! who's form is this! I will blacklist you if you forged this numbers yourselves! are you making a fool of me?", she said to them.
"If you want to verify it first, then may I suggest that you go to the proctors first, ma'am", Kael said to her.
"Yes! that would be best!", she said agitatedly.
She walked hurriedly to the testing areas while Kael and Kelvin sits at the chairs.
"Hey can I ask? what is your character stats' numbers?", asked Kelvin.
"Twenty on strength, twenty-five on dexterity, twenty-five on vitality, and seventy-five on focus", he whispered on his ears.
"Seventy-five! really?", Kelvin almost shouted but managed to hold back.
"Yeah! and you?", Kael asked.
"I have fifty in all of my stats!", he said in a low voice.
"What!? fifty? you mean your strength and others are all fifty?", he said to him.
"Shush! lower your voice!", he said.
They were talking then the receptionist arrived sweating. She walks while glancing at them.
"That was fast!? Did she dashed like a short distance runner?", Kelvin said to Kael.
"Yep, maybe", he replied.
"You! Two of you! Please wait for your results as we print you window cards immediately. Please forgive my rudeness. Now excuse me", she said.
"Did she underestimated us a while ago?", Kelvin said to Kael.
"Yeah, maybe she verified it herself", Kael replied.
They waited for an hour and then the other applicants are finished. They are waiting for the results then the receptionist gave them cards. It has their name, adventurer rank, and an empty box.
"Please put a drop of blood in the box to register it as yours, you are then registered as adventurers! "
She approached the two and then said, "Actually you two are the youngest adventurers so far! And the top examinees of this day! glad to welcome you aboard!"
She bows to them and then walks away. Kael and Kelvin pierced their thumb and then blood oozed from their skin.
They puts their thumb marks to the box and then the card glows. Letters then appeared below their names and it says, "Please say window to display your character window"
Kael then said the magic word.
"Window"
A floating window appeared but only Kael can see it.
