Introductions

"I enjoy issekai, sci-fi and YANDERE genres!", psychologist Akira Kurose exclaimed on the lunch table while chatting about favorite genres with his fellow coworker and childhood best friend Masato Nakamoto.



In his mid-twenties, Akira, the handsome psychologist exuded an air of quiet confidence and intellect that instantly drew people towards him. His dark hair framed his chiseled features and personality. Compassionate eyes that seemed to delve deep into the souls of those he interacted with. Despite his youthful appearance, there was an unmistakable maturity in his demeanor, a combination of empathy and wisdom that put his clients at ease during their sessions. His tailored attire and polished appearance mirrored the professionalism he brought to his practice, but it was the genuine warmth in his smile and the ability to connect with others on a profound level that truly set him apart, Hence making him one of the best psychologists of the city.


Everyone in the hospital was staring at Akira, "Apologies, Kurose-kun is just very passionate about media" said Masato. Everyone got back to their work with a slight smirk on their face while Kurose's face flustered from embarrassment.


Nurse Tanaka handed Akira a patient file while smirking over the previous incident, "Here is the file of your new patient, appointment at 4", she said before leaving.


Akira checked the file,


'Kaya Kobayashi', A young adult who was heart broken and betrayed by people multiple times which led to severe anxiety and Clinical depression.

Akira flipped a few pages and said "Masato, This patient sure is very interesting. I am looking forward to the session". Masato nodded, still not knowing what's in that file.


[ROOM 203 - Dr. Akira Kurose]

Kaya walked into the room unwillingly, accompanied by her dad. Akira welcomed them.

Despite not putting much effort into maintaining herself, Kaya exuded a natural beauty that captivated everyone around her. Her long black hair cascaded effortlessly down her shoulders.Her fair skin was visibly tender while her body structure was fairly delicate. There was less to no makeup yet there was an undeniable yet mysterious charm to her. It was as though her inner radiance shone through, making her all the more enchanting in a world that often equated beauty with meticulous upkeep.

Akira was admiring her beauty before coming back to senses and maintaining his composure.

Kaya's father initiated the conversation, "Due to someone or some group of people at her university she has been semi-isolating herself from others, even us, her family. We suspected depression but thought letting her be alone in her room for a few days would be fine. But days, weeks passed until yesterday she attempted suicide"

Akira was just flabbergasted by the thought of 'letting someone alone in depression' but he didn't say it out loud.

Akira then asked Kaya "Kobayashi-San, Do you have some fun hobbies perhaps"

Kaya stared blankly for a minute or two. "You don't have to push yourself to answer." Akira said with a sincere smile

Simultaneously Kaya said "A-" then nodded her head left to right with an uneasy expression.

Her Dad interrupted their conversation "She was quite fond of art when she was young."

Akira sensed the uneasiness Kaya was feeling, "That's it for today, I will schedule an appointment for you tomorrow at 2 o'clock"



[Kobayashi Residence, The Next Day]

『Two Students from XYZ university have gone missing.』The television reporter said

"Dear, what do you think about doctor", Mr.Kobayashi asked Kaya

"I neither like nor dislike him," replied Kaya.

"Oh, I see I was just glad to see you trying to answer a question asked by a stranger, It showed me a ray of hope".

Kaya thought to herself "Why is it that I felt relatively easier talking to him? Why was there a strange connection I felt?"

Kaya was unconsciously looking forward to the next session.
