Zhang Yan, at present, could see his opponent clearly. It was a malicious-looking creature, holding a pair of black wings with spines, floating in the midair. Its head was like human's, but with two fierce buckteeth in its mouth, and the lower part of its body was like a group of black fogs, as if it didn't own a lower part.

"The Nightmare Monster!" The lotus blurted out.

Zhang Yan didn't hear about it before, and asked, "What's it? A devil monster or something else?"

"It's not a devil monster, because it doesn't own a devil core in its body, but a special creature in the Huangquan Road, and improves cultivation level, like the ghosts, through sucking warriors' souls."

"You've seen its attacking way just now! It will take a sneak attack when the warriors are out of preparation. Once the warriors fell into its control, they will be stuck in the dreams that the it makes for them, then be devoured to death."

Zhang Yan posed a careful look at the Nightmare Monster in front of him, "So magical! Luckily, I have you and the Stone to Suppress Souls in my Knowledge Ocean! How dare the Nightmare Monster to attack me?! It's simply looking for death!"

Strange screams came out from the Nightmare Monster's mouth. The sound was very harsh, as if carrying magical force, hitting into Zhang Yan's Knowledge Ocean though his ears. A kind of attack too! But it failed to injure Zhang Yan's soul, once again, disappearing without any trace in the ocean.

The Nightmare Monster gazed at Zhang Yan tightly in shock, followed with countless soul attacks hitting into Zhang Yan's Knowledge Ocean from all directions. The monster had thought that Zhang Yan would make defense, yet what happened disappointed it.

Zhang Yan stood firmly and quietly without any intentions of resistance, but all of the energy from the Nightmare Monster was absorbed by the Stone to Suppress Souls in a blink.

Having consumed much of its own soul energy, the Nightmare Monster became a lot weak. Zhang Yan revealed a sneering smile, "Use the soul energy to attack me? No way!"

He lunched the Stone to Suppress Souls while speaking, and the stone began to flew out from his body though the center of his brows, enlarging into a nearly one-meter-high stone in front of him. 

Huge horrors climbed on the Nightmare Monster, driving it to sway its wings hard to escape.

However, it was too late now! The stone had already locked the Nightmare Monster and sealed it. No matter how it struggled, it couldn't get rid of the suppression of the stone. Fears and begging messages filled its eyes.

But Zhang Yan didn't show any mercy, and activated the stone to suck the Nightmare Monster at once. When the monster entered the stone, it transformed into bloods as feedings to the stone. 

After that, Zhang Yan received the stone in his Knowledge Ocean again, and admired, "The stone is really a treasure! Such an easy job for it to deal with the fragile Nightmare Monster!"

"Don't be proud! It's indeed a fragile one, maybe the weakest one! If you face with a stronger one, you can't lunch the stone to attack, after all, the biggest role of the stone is to defend. It is an invincible existence in your Knowledge Ocean, but strength-reduced outside!"

Zhang Yan nodded, "You are right. I got it!"

He continued to move forward, and this time he didn't meet any danger for three days. On the fourth day, some fighting noises could be heard from not afar. He headed for the sounds, because there were breathes of a familiar warrior to him over there.
