"That is…"

Seeing the form in the corner, Fang Li was startled and concentrated his eyes on the spot. Then he saw an outline of the full form. Seeing who it was he was a bit startled.

"Hibari?"

It was Hibari!

At this moment, Hibari was handcuffed and lying on the ground, her mouth was also stuffed with a cloth but after seeing Fang Li she couldn't help making noises.

Fang Li responded and quickly pulled out the cloth from her mouth.

"Fang Li san" Hibari looked on the verge of crying.

"Hibari" Fang Li hastily asked her, "Why are you here?"

"After you guys left the Russian Branch, Captain Rollins immediately got some people to imprison me." Hibari bit her lips and said, "I didn't think that the Captain was that sort of person…"

Hearing this, Fang Li looked at the tied up Hibari and sighed.

This was normal. Although Hibari was merely an operator she was still a member of the Far East Branch.

Even Fang Li an ordinary soldier was plotted against let alone Hibari.

Only, Rollins hadn't actually killed her but just tied her up.

"Perhaps, he wanted to use her as a hostage to deal with the First Unit when they came back?"

After all, the First Unit's death hadn't been confirmed yet so Rindou Amamiya and his group might've escaped.

Considering this, Rollins would rather imprison Hibari as a contingency plan rather than killing her immediately.

"This Rollins Wright truly was intelligent, his plan was flawless from start to finish it's too bad that he looked down on my skill too much."

If this Laboratory had been found by the First Unit instead of Fang Li then Rollins would likely have used Hibari as a hostage to divert Rindou Amamiya and the rest. The outcome would definitely have been different if that were the case.

"One can only say that it was fate."

Thinking so, Fang Li swiped his Moon Blade.

The sharp blade tore through Hibari's handcuffs.

Then, Fang Li held up Hibari.

"Hibari, since you were here you should know the current situation." Fang Li said to her, "I'm going to bring Eros away from the Russian Branch now, what do you want to do?"

Hearing his words, Hibari's face tightened and she said hesitantly, "Fang Li san, I-I'll help you…"

"Help me?" Fang Li asked, "How are you going to do that?"

"I was kept here for several days now and I've been observing this place, I'll try to find out how to operate the equipment." Hibari pointed at Eros inside the tank and said, "This tank can directly eject Eros from the lab, it should eject it to quite a far location."

"It has that sort of functionality?!" Fang Li was astonished but then he thought it was also normal.

Rollins collaborated with the Russian Branch minister to study Eros to find a method to control it. However, he didn't really want to give all his results to the minister, he even thought about kicking out the minister after Eros' research was complete to monopolise it.

That being the case, the ejection function wasn't too strange.

After studying everything, Rollins could eject Eros from the Russian Branch then find an excuse to leave as well to find it. At that moment, he could start his grand plan of using Eros to lead an Aragami army to travel across the world and complete his goal.

Right now though, this function was quite helpful to Fang Li.

"Is it fine if it's just you?" Fang Li asked her, "Right now the outside is chaotic and the Aragami army is approaching, I'm not sure if I can stay here and protect you."

"There shouldn't be any issues." Hibari hastily replied and pointed, "There's some equipment here with Bias Factors inside which I can use to avoid the Aragami attacks, it's probably going to be easier being here then outside with the Russian Branch fighting the Aragami."

Hibari's words made Fang Li slightly hesitant.

Hibari smiled and said, "Please don't worry about me, after all I'm still a soldier, although I'm just an operator, but just escaping should be no issue."

Seeing her smiling face, Fang Li couldn't help but put down his worries.

He nodded and said, "Then I'll leave it to you Hibari."

"Yes." Hibari nodded then remembering something she took out an earphone type communicator from her pocket and gave it to Fang Li.

"Fang Li san please take this, because Rollins was quite careful he installed all sorts of monitoring equipment here to monitor the entire Russian Branch, although some of it was destroyed I can still use the remaining to help inform you if there's any important information."

"Understood." Fang Li didn't reject and took the communicator plugging it into his ear saying to Hibari once more, "Be careful."

Then, he no longer delayed and ran out of the lab.

Hibari took a deep breath and turned around to look at Eros.

After a moment, she said in the quiet lab, "I'm also a part of the Far East Branch."

Right now, everyone was fighting, so she had to fight hard too!

The fight of an operator.

Thinking so, Hibari observed all the surroundings and ran in a direction.

The sky outside flashed with loud thunder signifying the onset of rain…
