At the question being asked in a loud voice, a reply came soon.

His breath rose to his chin.
However, he couldn’t stop his feet.

Chris gritted his teeth.
His right arm hurt.

Steve yelled and grabbed the reins.

The horse cried loudly and raised its front legs.
