I Want to Be a Receptionist of The Magic World Chapter 11 part1

CHAPTER 11 Part 1
The island is floating in the blue sky. The scenery that I see from here has never changed. When you look at the sky, far from the shiny floating island, there is another but a bigger floating island. This island too looks like it has never changed. At the same time, the thing that I have always wanted to do since I was little has never changed.

I've always wanted to be in this magical world. The world where the receptionist Onee-san works at, a place called Hare company.
Mom: “Nanari! From now on you are going to go to the magician's place, right? Quickly get ready!”
Nanari: “I'm going now!”
I pull out myself from the window and close the curtain.
From today onwards, I am starting to work at Hare. Currently, I'm preparing to move to Hare Employee's dormitory. Unlike my time at school, I am going to live by myself. So I have also learned how to cook to some extent. At least I can manage to make some food with my own hand that is edible to eat.
I didn't expect to live in the dormitory, but I'm pretty much prepared for it.
I can at least make Rabbit bird broth without magic. My Father who tasted it said that it was good enough as Rabbit Bird! Personally, I don't understand his comment at all. I wished he gave me a more concrete opinion. His opinion was way too abstract and he also did not request a second helping. He also did not say that I had improved. Although it is hard for me to admit it, the fact that he did not say that I had made some improvement or that I made it deliciously means that it was a failure.
Nanari: “Okay.”
Because I'm going to live in a dormitory again, I look around the room with luggage in my hand one more time. I thought I was going to renew the wall of my room at some point, but the white wall is still dirty. A wobbling wooden bookshelf which hard to be described as beautiful, and when I look on the desk by the window, the school textbooks which I had taken care of are organized into a box. On top of my bed, there was a canopy before. My father made a lot of effort to build it for my sake. He affixed the curtains to the ceiling with rusted nails. However, those things had been taken down. There are only pillows and quilts left on top of my bed. Meanwhile, the stuffed bear which was given by mother, is coming with me to Hare. I had tightly packed it with all of my other stuff.
Finally, I bring all my luggage out from the room and straighten the hem of my brown one-piece dress. Then I turn around to see the room again. I look at the room and burn the view of the room which has been left by the owner into my eyes.  Then I leave in a hurry.

If you ever got lost on your way to Hare, look for the King's island. Once you see it, you won't become a lost child anymore. It is easier to follow it than the first star in the evening sky.
In view of the long history of Hare, the company has been working as the intermediary between clients and exorcists from a long time ago up until now. By the way, Hare Mauren is the name of the person who first founded the magician guide.  She was a woman and dear me, I'm proud of her as a woman.
This era is still the era where men dominate the rule, however, a woman joining the knight order has become a common thing recently. It might be not so long when we as women can start to meet the men equally.
Nanari: “Lala, please send me to Hare.” Lala: “Yes.”
In front of the house, I summon Lala to ride on her back. After using familiar as a mean for transportation for the past 3 years, riding a flying carriage become like a memory.  Feeding the horse with the paper was fun and overall, I liked riding the flying carriage. However nowadays, the flying carriage has been exclusively used by Mother for transportation to her workplace.
In the beginning, Mother was taking some absence for her beloved archeology job until I became independent. I remember Mother told me with a smile that she wanted to focus on bringing me up first. In regards to her work, she can start it again afterward. Mother loves to go outside. She really loves to go to historical sites, pursuing and unraveling unknown things. When she does that, she seems like a little girl. Since now I already got a job, she seems to have wings growing from her back. She starts to fly around and go somewhere else.
Today is the day I leave the house, so mother comes back to send me out. Usually, father was the one who sent me out while saying ‘It would be lonely.' Then in front of his daughter, he would start to wail with snots dripping from his nose to express his loneliness.  Then he would become really messy with tears and snots dripping and flying all over. During that time, I refused to be touch or getting close to him.
Because I already got a job offer by the beginning of my 6th year, Mother started to occasionally go out of the house since then. As time went on,  she went out more often and it apparently became the normal condition for the whole year. When I was at the dorm at school, I did not know about it at all. Therefore, when I first know about it, I was really surprised. Even in that one year, Father has become really lonely. Especially because Father excessively loves Mother so much.
During my long vacation, I told mother that father seemed like he was dying out of loneliness. When she heard my story, she just indifferently replied, ‘Well… yes, yes..'. I told her about father because I pity him, and as a child, I do want my parents to get along.
However, I perhaps should not meddle in their issue because I had no love experience. My action eventually brought the opposite result, Father got a double slap from Mother. When I saw the print on his face, I pretended that I didn't know.
Married couple has different ways to bond, huh.
