“True Nakenjutsu”

That can't be? Why is she using Nakenjutsu? Nakenjutsu originates from Muromachi Period in Japan and is used by the Nakayama Clan, except 40 years ago when my grandparents decided to open a dojo and teach Nakenjutsu to the public. Then again, there is no doubt that she is using Nakenutsu. The right hand holding the sword is raised while the left hand is lower holding the sheath like a sword. “Why is that man have the same style as Lime-sama?”

While they are having this idle chatter, Lime-san began to move. She get close to me and swing her sword diagonally, I parry the sword with my sheath and stepped back.

“Tch. The sheath is not good enough for Nakenjutsu”

The sheath is chipped, it is not broken but no doubt that there is a limit on how many times I can parry or block a sword using it.

“This is no time to daydream, attack me with everything you have. Don't hold back!”

I parry, evade and block each and every attack that Lime-san made. She is using the old style of Nakenjutsu. I tried attacking and see how she blocks, parry and evade and it make me certain about it. That means she has no idea on the new style of Nakenjutsu… but, it doesn't mean I should use Nakenjutsu to win. That being said, I block, evade and parry each and every attack that she made.

Shing! Clang! Shing!

The sound of metal resound on the arena. Our movements are too fast that you'd think you are watching a well choreographed movie.

When I saw Lime-san doing an overhead slash, I let go of my weapon and sheath surprising her. However, she did not stop. Before the slash reach me, I slight move my body to left making the sword to barely hit me then I hold her right wrist using my left hand. I spin clockwise giving us a position to be side by side but then I pull her wrist forward. Since she is charging, she lost her balance and followed the direction of my pull. When I saw her that she lost her balance, I hold the sword with my right hand and while still holding her wrist with my left hand I then force the direction of the sword overhead causing her to spin and fall to the ground. Due to her hitting the ground, she let go of the sword and while still holding the sword I point it into her head. This technique is called ‘Tachi Dori'. It is an Aikido Technique and this is the first time that I actually pulled it off in a fight.

“Looks like I win!”

Thank goodness I did not make any mistake on that move. There is a lot of con on using that move and in worst case, it may do bad than good since I let go of my weapons.

“Yeah! You win. Wonderfully done!”

While still lying on the ground, panting. She smiled as she say this and while looking at me and covered in sweat.
