Ling Yun quickly placed Little White on the ground and took out a Healing Talisman from his Spatial ring. He leaned over Dongfang Ting. "Elder Brother Dongfang, quick, tell me where your wounds are. I'll heal you!"

"Younger Brother Ling Yun, thank you, but it's useless. My back and legs have been pierced by the stone swords in so many areas. I can't even move now!"

Ling Yun didn't listen to Dongfang Ting's nonsense. He immediately patted the Healing Talisman lightly on the wounds that Dongfang Ting had mentioned before shouting internally, Come!

Dongfang Ting didn't know what Ling Yun had done to his body, but he felt a strange coolness on his injuries. When all of his wounds had mysteriously vanished thereafter, he was both surprised and delighted at once!

"Younger Brother Ling Yun, this…" Dongfang Ting was filled with boundless gratitude and shouted in shock.

Ling Yun laughed. "Don't say anything yet. The three of us need to lean against the stone wall now. If my guess is correct, the next wave of stone swords will come out from the ground!"

After he had spoken, Ling Yun carried Little White while bringing both Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting to the side of a stone wall. He calmly said, "The next wave of stone swords will be the last one in the killing spell. As long as we can endure it, this spell formation should die away!"

Dugu Mo gasped in astonishment. "But the stone swords will shoot out from the ground this time, so how are we going to hide?"

Ling Yun gritted his teeth. "We have no choice, we can only protect the vital parts of our bodies while taking the hits…"

Dugu Mo was so afraid that he covered his private part tightly. Sensing something amiss, he immediately covered his buttocks.

Ling Yun already knew that the killing spell was called the Rebellion Limitless Sword Spell and that it was used in tandem with the spells of illusion and confusion. What they had triggered could only be considered a very minor spell compared to the Yin Yang Dragon Lock Spell.

"Concentrate fully, demolish the barrier between yourselves and objects, protect yourselves. Here comes the third wave!" After Ling Yun instructed the two of them, they heard the sound of stone swords shooting out with laser-like precision.

Truly, all of the stone swords were shot out from the ground this time and left one virtually indefensible.

Ling Yun wildly activated the Stellar Condensation Technique as he held Little White — which was curled up into a ball — tightly against his chest. His body was forcefully bent backwards until it had formed an exaggerated angle with the ground. Then, he frantically brandished his blade behind him to sever the stone swords that had shot forth from the ground!

Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting were letting out a series of groans beside Ling Yun; they had evidently sustained serious injuries!

As for the giant "dragon", it had long been lying on the ground, immobilized. It didn't even make the slightest sound.

After the third wave of stone swords, the stone walls disappeared along with the dense white fog in an instant. The rocky cave immediately returned to a state of absolute darkness. If not for the deceased lying on the ground, it would seem as though nothing eventful had occurred.

Ling Yun slowly opened his eyes after establishing that the coast was clear. He carefully placed Little White aside before sitting up.

Ling Yun used the Healing Talismans to heal all of his wounds before walking towards Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting. He was able to see very clearly now and tossed the Healing Talismans directly onto their wounds for a quick recovery.

Smiling and visibly excited, both Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting sprung to their feet simultaneously. Dugu Mo asked Ling Yun, "You used the talisman from Maoshan, right? This plaything truly matches its legendary reputation, it's so amazing!"

Ling Yun gave a slight smile. "What talisman from Maoshan? This is the healing technique from our Immortal Physician Sect, okay?"

Dongfang Ting cupped his fists and bowed deeply. With eyes full of sincere gratitude, he said, "Little Brother Ling Yun, thank you so much for saving my life. If you ever need my assistance in the future, I won't hesitate to go through fire and water for you!"

Ling Yun laughed aloud and waved his hand. "It's a small matter. Alright, I'll be deeply grateful as long as Elder Brother Dongfang doesn't think that I'm a member of the Devil Sect, haha."

Dugu Mo wasn't as polite as Dongfang Ting. He circled Ling Yun in excitement and asked, "You're really from the Immortal Physician Sect? I say, what's that talisman charm that you have? Can you give some of them to me? This plaything is really too good!"

Ling Yun ignored him, and his gaze swept across the vicinity of the stone doors. The five corpses of Shangguan Jue and the others lay on the floor — all of their bodies resembled sieves. Fresh blood was still bubbling out of their wounds, and their deaths were most tragic.

"Hmph, these three fools nearly got us all killed in this place!" Ling Yun snorted coldly, while Dongfang Ting also grimaced and shook his head.

Dugu Mo flew over to feel the stone wall and felt the hard floor as well. He said skeptically, "Were those stone swords real or not?"

Ling Yun laughed. "These stone swords were unreal, they're all effects of the spell formation. The pressure from the stone walls, the enveloping white fog, and the shooting stone swords were all unreal…"

Dugu Mo raised another question. "But all those stone walls and stone swords, they really hurt us! How do you explain that?"

Ling Yun frowned. "The pressure from the stone walls was the effect of the illusion spell, which would influence your mind. You would think that the stone walls are really slamming against you and use all of your power to fight back, so, of course, you would sustain internal injuries…"

"And what about the stone swords?" Dugu Mo was bent on thoroughly investigating the matter.

Ling Yun laughed, unaffected. "It sustained such serious injuries, it's not guaranteed that I'll be able to save it. I can only do my best and leave the rest to it."

After he had spoken, Ling Yun started to place the Healing Talismans on the vital parts of the giant "dragon's" body. The creature was simply too huge. After experiencing three waves of densely packed stone swords that pierced its body, the hundreds of talismans that Ling Yun possessed was insufficient. Thus, he had to prioritize the healing of the vital parts of the giant "dragon's" body.

Ling Yun turned his head towards Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting. "It's impossible to open the three stone doors based on our current capabilities. However, you can both drink a little of this substance — it will greatly benefit the cultivation of your martial arts techniques!"

"What is this?" Both Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting asked curiously. Actually, they had caught sight of the dragon's saliva after entering the place and knew that it was definitely something good. However, they had been preoccupied with the Earth Emperor's Book. Also, with the giant "dragon" fiercely guarding the saliva, they hadn't dared to entertain any covetous thoughts.

Now, Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting regarded Ling Yun as their savior after he had rescued them. Despite the differences in their temperaments, the duo was open and aboveboard. Hence, they had been waiting for Ling Yun's arrangements.

"Dragon's saliva? No wonder this giant python was guarding it fiercely and refused to let us go near it. So it had been thinking of using it to transform into a dragon…" Dugu Mo mused.

Ling Yun laughed inwardly. It was more the case of transforming into an alternative dragon — the creature was still a long way from transforming into a true dragon!

"But we didn't bring any containers here, so how are we going to drink it?" Dugu Mo thought of another question and asked it gloomily.

Whether or not they were able to defeat Ling Yun in battle, Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting had already cultivated the initial stages of Houtian Realm Level Nine. If those two experts were to embarrass themselves by using their hands to scoop up the dragon's saliva, they would probably be ridiculed by Ling Yun.

After hearing those words, Dugu Mo was filled with even more regret. His face was full of bitter remorse.

"Alright, quickly drink up the dragon's saliva. You can both cultivate your powers straight away after drinking it. I will protect you guys during cultivation, but don't take too long!"

Although the dragon's saliva only consisted of a puddle, even Ling Yun's spatial ring was unable to store it. Even if the three of them were to stay on the spot and drink it for half a month, they'd still not be able to finish it. Hence, Ling Yun didn't feel that it had been a wasted opportunity at all.

Dugu Mo and Dongfang Ting were ecstatic after hearing Ling Yun's words. They immediately went over to fill their respective bottles with the dragon's saliva and began drinking it.

After they drank it, both of them nodded their heads simultaneously in Ling Yun's direction. They each found a place nearby where they could sit cross-legged and cultivate their powers in solitude.

They knew that this was tantamount to entrusting their lives to Ling Yun, but since their lives had been saved by him, they were immensely confident in him.

After they had begun their cultivation, Ling Yun smiled faintly and took out the Psychic Jade Box.
