"Good stuff!" The longer Qian Jin looked at the [Divine Shot] in his hands, the more he had the impulse to immediately forge a strong bow. "I have to squeeze some time out of my day to practice the shooting techniques," he said to himself.

Far away, a few beast roars travelled through the forest, causing leaves to fall. The roars reached Qian Jin's ears.

Qian Jin put back [Divine Shot] into the inner pocket of his clothes; even if there wasn't any secret in this book, simply mastering all the techniques mentioned in the book would take a while. Even though he didn't have the Bloodline of the Yuri Family or any other special bloodline power, he could still become a great archer!

"I…" Qian Jin lowered his hand and looked at the book in his clothes. He lightly placed his palm on the book as he said to himself, "I still feel like the first line of the book is a clue to a secret that I haven't yet discovered."

"Courage? Could the key be hidden in the word 'courage'?"

Qian Jin jumped off of the stone with a spear in one hand and a Zhanmadao in the other, and the stories that he heard from traveling poets replayed in his head. For example, there was a story where a powerful warrior wrote something on a book using a special potion. These words disappeared after the potion dried, but they were revealed when a warrior accidentally threw the book into a river.

There were also stories where big secrets were hidden inside a page of a book. After someone threw the book into a fire, a small piece of gold leaf appeared. The real secret was recorded on that leaf, and the person who discovered the leaf unexpectedly became a powerful warrior.

"It couldn't be that typical, could it?" Qian Jin shook his head as he rejected these hypotheses. "Except for the fact that archers really do need courage, could this line be intentionally misleading?" he thought. "Carelessness is closely associated with courage, and if someone is actually careless… he or she might throw this book into water or fire to see if the stories that travelling poets told were true or not…"

"[Divine Shot] might actually disappear from this world if that happened!" Qian Jin nodded as he thought of that. "If I was the God of Archery, then I would require my descendants to at least have reasonable intelligence before they could touch my book. If my descendants were actually that careless, then they wouldn't even have the privilege of reading [Divine Shot]! It would be better just to let [Divine Shot] disappear from the world forever, rather than having careless descendants ruin its name." Qian Jin became more confident in his new hypothesis as he thought about it more.

At the same time, a layer of cold sweat covered Qian Jin's body. He had actually thought of soaking and burning this book! He almost destroyed a great treasure!

A Green Skinned Three Armed Ape suddenly walked out of the inner forest and blocked Qian Jin's path. An aggressive intent was in its eyes.

"Demon Beast again…" Qian Jin rubbed his forehead and said, "The creatures that I could never see outside of here are everywhere in Four Season Valley… I'm very fortunate… If my master didn't block off the entrance of this forest, I would have died a few days ago and been torn into pieces a hundred times by these beasts."

The Three Armed Ape looked down at Qian Jin, who was considered small in its eyes. An angry roar sounded from its throat; it was very mad since such a small creature dared to mock it.

As its anger turned into roars, the Green Skinned Three Armed Ape suddenly attacked! Its arms that were thicker than Qian Jin's legs and its fists that were the size of Qian Jin's head struck at his chest forcefully. The strike looked like it could put a crack in the mountain! Although the attack was simple, it contained all of the Demon Beast's ferocious and violent spirit. Even a large tree couldn't handle this.

The Green Skinned Three Armed Ape no longer wanted to kill Qian Jin for food; it simply wanted to destroy this creature in front of it that was making it very angry. However, it also felt an inexplicable fear.

Bam! The sound of bones hitting muscle instantly resonated in the forest.

Qian Jin was struck on the chest. His body flew backwards and he smashed into a tree. That tree started to shake violently and all the leaves made loud clattering noises as they bumped into one another.

The Green Skinned Three Armed Ape was very satisfied as it saw Qian Jin flying backwards into the tree. It stretched its thick arms and let out a proud roar.

However, the roars from Green the Skinned Three Armed Ape stopped abruptly. It looked at its prey who slowly climbed off of the tree and dusted the dirt off of his body in shock.

"Not bad; not bad at all." Qian Jin rubbed his nose as he laughed and looked at the Green Skinned Three Armed Ape. "When I got hit in the chest by one of your kind, my chest felt like it was on fire. However, I didn't feel anything today. It looks like advancing to a Level 3 Demon Fighter has increased the defense of my Wind and Cloud Stone Body. The only thing is that the speed of my warrior power's rotation is only about forty-five cycles per minute. I wasn't even at my peak, yet you couldn't even manage to hurt me. You really suck."

The Green Skinned Three Armed Ape didn't expect its attack to achieve such a result. Fear instantly travelled from its brain to its face. As it roared again, it instantly used the Insane Strength Spell. With a beast's instinct, one of its arms struck at Qian Jin's stomach, and the other two struck at Qian Jin's head.

Three bone and muscle colliding sounds resonated in the forest again; they sounded like a blanket getting beaten by a wooden stick.

Qian Jin's abdomen was hit, but he didn't fly away like last time; his back didn't even bend at all. He stood there, standing straight with his arms cross in front of his head; his arms blocked the two fists that were bigger than his head.

Although his hands were big compared to his peers, they were tiny compared to the Three Armed Ape's fist. However, they still blocked the strikes that seemed like they could easily smash Qian Jin into meat paste.

Qian Jin grabbed onto the two fists with his hands and separated them apart. He stretched out his neck and shoulders as he thought, "Having the strength of a Level 3 Demon Fighter and the Wind and Cloud Stone Body is just too cool!"

"Are you done? It should be my turn next, right?"

Qian Jin looked up with a big bright smile on his face. When the Green Skinned Three Armed Ape saw it, it started to back off continuously. Murderous spirit! A thick murderous intent! Danger! The ape was instantly scared. Its instincts told it that this little prey was just like the Demon Uyeha Spider, one of the four king Demon Beasts in this valley!

Qian Jin's face was constantly smiling, but the Green Skinned Three Armed Ape felt more and more devastated. It seemed like the little figure quickly swelled up from the ape's perspective, and Qian Jin's presence became so terrifying that the ape had the impulse to kneel down and worship its little prey.

The Green Skinned Three Armed Ape's upper teeth collided with its lower teeth rapidly. At the same time, the Demon Beast's violent nature was stimulated. After an angry roar, the ape put its hands together and punched forward with all of its might. "You are far weaker than Centaurs; I can't use you to test my real strength."

As Qian Jin said that, his toes flexed and he pushed himself off the ground! The distance between instantly closed. As Qian Jin passed by the Three Armed Ape, the Zhanmadao made a perfect mark on its body, with white light still reflecting off of the blade. Blood spurted out of the mark and added more color to the endless white scenery.

Bam… The Three Armed Ape's body fell to the ground, with blood still gushing out non-stop.

Qian Jin used the tip of the spear to flip out the Magic Core that hadn't been broken by the ape before its death. He laughed as the Magic Core fell into his hand. "This hasn't been a bad adventure. In such a short time, I obtained two Magic Cores and a Warrior Weapon. However, I still haven't found the tree made of copper."

Four days! After four days, a figure vaguely appeared on the bank of the lake.

The elder looked at Qian Jin who was slowly becoming more visible in the fog and laughed, "This long? Are you trying to starve me to death?"

"I almost didn't make it out alive…" Qian Jin had a tree on his shoulder. The tree was about half a man tall, weighed a hundred pounds, and looked like it was made of copper. What was special was that there really was a crystal-like fruit on one of the branches. It was exactly like what the elder said.

"Really? But hey! You made out alive! You probably got a lot of good stuff too, right?" The elder smiled as he looked at the lively Qian Jin who was completely soaked in blood. "Oh, it seems like you are very well rested. I thought you wouldn't get any proper sleep and have bags under your eyes."

"Almost…" Qian Jin placed the copper-like tree in front of the elder as he raised his arms and pointed out his pinky finger. "That close, I almost didn't make it. Come on, master. Why didn't you tell me that there was a Demon Uyeha Spider living beside the tree?" He asked the elder.

The elder squatted down beside the tree and smiled as he looked at the crystal-like fruit that was emitting a soft, clear light. "Were you chased by the spider aggressively?" Without even turning his head, he asked a question and didn't give answer first.

"No." Qian Jin shook his head, "It didn't discover me at all."

"Oh? It didn't discover you?"

Elder turned his head and looked at Qian Jin curiously. The Demon Uyeha Spider was a very special Demon Beast. Its movement speed was very fast, and its poison was lethal. Its six legs were as hard as iron, and it had a great sense of smell, so it could notice any changes near itself. It also created a ton of invisible nets around its territory to act as its' second pair of eyes. Anything that touched those nets would send a signal to the spider; that would put it in an advantageous situation, since it would know where the enemy was. Therefore, it could seize the best opportunity to attack.

Qian Jin looked at the elder's surprised expression and didn't respond right away. He dropped all of his stuff on the bank of the lake and jumped into the lake to take a bath. As he cleaned all the bloodstains off of his body, he recalled the scene when he encountered the Demon Uyeha Spider.

That moment was really dangerous. The Demon Uyeha Spider that was about three meters long, and it was very sensitive. When Qian Jin hid twenty meters away from it, he didn't even dare to breathe normally.

Without even fighting it, Qian Jin felt like his skin was being torn open by this powerful Demon Beast's ferocious aura. After a day and night of lurking without eating, drinking, sleeping, and moving, he finally found an opportunity when the Demon Uyeha Spider took its monthly walk away from this tree. Qian Jin took the chance and pulled the tree that was usually guarded out of the ground and sprinted back to the lake with the tree on his shoulder.
