Chapter 4: The Sole Survivers

"Wait where am I?" Cain thought to himself.

After observing his surroundings, he noticed he was in a hospital room with a man who appeared to be a doctor performing a check-up on him.

"I see you are finally awake, you were rushed at the pilgrim hospital after being involved in a serious accident. I will let your friend know that you are awake now," The doctor explained.

"Friend?" Cain asked.

The doctor walked out of the room and not shortly after that, a man in a suite entered the room and to his surprise. It was Captain Ash.

"Is everyone ok?" Cain asked with a worried tone.

"Only you and akuji made it out barely alive, the rest are..... Dead," Captain Ash explained.

"You have been unconscious for almost a week now, Akuji regained consciousness two days ago and explained what happened," Captain Ash continued to explain.

"Oh I see, Something weird happened to me. It just felt like I was overloaded with energy all of a sudden and my art sty--" Cain was cut short by Ash.

"Yes, you manifested an art style, Copy Art style, a rather weak tier art style but probably coupled with your zero point zeal energy can probably make it a god tier art style, truly sublime," Captain Ash explained,"But what it's limit?"

"Change your clothes now, we are going out now," Ash explained.

"Where are we going?" Cain asked.

"You will see," Ash replied while he walked out of the room.

Cain did as his captain ordered and they drove away from the city and to a hidden base of the agency.

"Are we doing here, aren't I suppose to go back to Japan?" Cain asked as they walked into the training grounds.

"Yes, you are gonna go back but after I see how strong you are now," Ash replied.

They finally reached the training and Akuji was already at the training ground.

"So you are still alive huh?" Akuji asked Cain.

"Thanks for worrying about me," Cain sarcastically replied to Akuji.

"Now Cain, you will fight against me to see where you stand now," Ash explained," Oh yeah and don't hold back or you will die."

"Are you joking right now?" Cain asked,"You are a first tier agent with a god tier art style. I stand no chance against."

"Dont look down on yourself Cain," Ash explained while stretching,"But since your so worried, I will only use fifty percent of my power."

"Now, prepare yourself," Ash said.

Cain loosened his tie and assumed a battle stance.

"Sol Art, First seal, Blazing sun," Ash said while he grinned.

A powerful fire based attack that produced powerful burst of flames.

"Copy Art, endless abyss," Cain replied.

A powerful defense move which opens a gateway to an endless abyss and neutralizes any attack.

"Interesting, He can copy Void Art," Ash said," well let's see how you deal with this. Sol Art, Second seal, Majestic fire Arrow."

A powerful fire arrow rumored to have divine origin.

"Not even endless abyss can complete negate all this energy," Ash said.

He let go of the arrow with so much force that it broke the sound barrier.

"Copy Art, Legendary dragon," Cain said,"Protect me!"

The dragon covered him from the direct impact of the arrow and resulting explosion but due to the intense heat. It killed the dragon.

"He can also copy Summoning Art too?"Both Akuji and Ash stated at the same time.

" I feel my body getting sluggish now, I think I can do at least two more attacks," Cain thought to himself.

"Copy Art, Space manipulation:Cut and slash" Cain said.

The move cuts and slashes anything in the selected space and in this case, the training ground.

The ground below Ash was cut and slashed which cave in. He lost his balance mid air.

"This is the best opportunity I will get," Cain said," Copy Art, Majestic fire Arrow."

"He copied my own attack from earlier but I can still withstand the attack," Ash thought to himself.

"Power Amplification: A THOUSAND FOLD!" Cain yelled with all his might.

The colour of the flame changed from orange to blue then purple.

"Power amplification, he increased the power output to 1 thousand times. So this is how strong you have gotten boy?" Ash said with a grin.

"Take this you bastard!" Cain yelled as he let go of the arrow.

The force was so powerful that it broke multiple sound barriers. The arrow directly hit on Ash which later imploded and exploded.
