Chapter 1

She stared at the white icy pavement below her, and she thought very quickly, “A quick leap” she said to herself, at this time the sounds and whispers that she once thought were gone slowly got even louder than they once were. Her heart always broke when she listened to the sounds of the weary children and their cries or it had gone on too long. For she did not hesitate when she saw her father scream at her, oh how much she dreaded that man. He was the one who ruined her and her mother's life when she saw him and knew it was too late to stop now. She took a breath of the crispy cold winter air, for it was only one minute until the end of the year, “ how the days have dragged by, and yet I have found no fun in it for the people who stair, and the ones who laugh at people who they don’t know.” for she hated the ones who would satire at her she could most definitely hear them, but they did not care. Nope, they didn’t care at all, all the harsh words they spoke stuck like glue and just would not let her go. She waited until the new year countdown started for then it would be over. All the noises all of the sounds and all of the people would finally stop judging her she felt the cold winter wind brush against her body. Oh how she hated her body but the one thing she hated the most was her face, it was the talk of the school, she hated school a lot but for some reason she just loved it. She loved her friends she loved most of her teachers, she also loved when it was quiet and when she saw the one person she liked most. As she began to second guess herself she heard the countdown start, “ Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, o- *Thump*” … there was no sound, no people just quietness… she felt relived she would once again see her mom soon, her brothers too. for she had long awaited this new experience she felt as if something big was coming...
