Banished to Another World Chapter 13

Yan Mo originally wanted to mobilize Yuan Diao and have him look for herbs and other useful things, but considering the attitude Yuan Shan had after he drew the wood plank, he postponed this plan.

People kept gathering at the plaza. Yan Mo was carried by Cao Ting right next to her master. Yuan Shan and He Tu were also there. Besides Da He who could not move, her two children were also there.

This boy was thin and feminine, the skin was white and the eyes were green. One look and you could tell it was a person of two tribes.

"That is Wen Sheng, he was originally a She Ren tribe member. Master Da Shan traded four muskmelons for him." Cao Ting explained.

The crowd cheered.

Yan Mo's gaze swept across the center of the crowd and frowned a bit.

Lots of men, very few women, many adults, very few children. And the elderly was so few that it was astonishing. Actually to call them the elderly, although these people had deep wrinkles, but looking at the bodies they were still healthy. He could only guess from the outside appearance, but maybe the last time he saw the priest, he was the oldest person in the tribe?

The chief and them stood at the front of the plaza, everyone else stood behind them. No one dared to be in front of them, including the children who didn't understand.

The huge team in the distance was approaching closer.

Because of the terrain, although Yan Mo stood behind he could still see the entire team.

This was Yan Mo's first impression of the unit.

He thought it would be a disorganized group of leather skirt wearing barbarians dragging dead animals over their shoulders and backs.

But what is he seeing now?

He unexpectedly saw an army!

And they looked like they went through rigorous training, a fearful disciplined 100 warrior army!

The entire army was made of young and middle aged men. Everyone was wearing a leather skirt. Hand holding a wooden spear, they didn't wear shoes. Most of their body was bare, but everyone only needed to see them to understand that their bodies was their most powerful weapon!

The sweat gave their bronze and dark skin a glossy look, like they smeared oil on themselves.

The bulge of the their muscles were solid like rock, causing people to suspect that even a  wild beast's claws could not damage them.

Many people had blood and injuries on them, but no one stopped or showed any pain. The people with heavy injuries could not make it back and the people who could come back relied on their own two legs to return to the tribe.

The pace of all the warriors were identical. The entire team was divided into four square arrays. In the middle, guarding the prey were slaves carrying them on their backs or dragging them.

If the slaves dared to slow their pace, there was a supervisor who would immediately whip them.

Although they obviously already reached their own tribe's territory and reached the middle of the residence, however these rows of soldiers did not relax. The team did not even lose formation.

Enemies can appear anywhere and anytime. They did not have to fight just wild animals, they also needed to battle against other tribe warriors greedy for their harvest. Even if you were back at your house doorstep, you could never relax. Because there were also hunters from the air.

T/N: Welp… I made an error Wen Sheng is a guy, not a girl. It didn't specify what gender he was at the time so I just assumed it was a female. I'll go fix it….. Nobody saw anything *hides*
