A Sorcerer's Journey 416 War of the Dark Destroyer Kingdom VI

A booming sound was heard when the ornamental main door of the Flame Burrow was smashed and destroyed by Claudia.
Grimm and the Level-2 old sorceress followed closely behind while they cast away the elemental-activated creatures that were being summoned temporarily.
The reason was because the body structures of the elemental-activated creatures were definitely unfit to be in battle with the limited space within the Flame Burrow.
As soon as the attacking Dark Demon-Hunter had fallen onto the ground, it would be their natural instinct to summon elemental-activated creatures. The reason was because of the uncertainties that lay ahead in the foreign world, as well as the threat that might be hidden within the unfamiliar and dark environment, it was the period when they were exposed to high levels of risk.
The few that had entered into the Flame Burrow were immediately shocked by the scene before them.
After a short pause, Grimm was the first one who was able to understand the situation.
The basement hall of the Flame Burrow was about two hundred meters wide, and the decoration within the hall was grand and splendorous, filled with flame stripe carvings and decorative red-coloured gemstones which were embedded in the eye-catching spots of the hall.
However, it was at that moment…
There were corpses of Acraepoids being stacked together in the centre of the hall, it was about twenty meters in height and the pale-red blood released a sickening smell into the surroundings.
There was a Level-3 Demon-Hunter who was floating beside the pile of corpses and he seemed to be guarding an unknown magic array. The Demon-Hunter was expressionless, as if it was a nightmare that had just happened.
"Abyssal Moss?"
Grimm murmured to himself as he looked at the patches of pale-black mosses on the pile of corpses.
The great Level-3 sorcerer raised his head and looked at Grimm with his green-coloured eyes, he was shocked as he said, "A Rank-1 Honor Badge?"
Grimm took a deep breath and greeted the great Level-3 Demon-Hunter.
"Master, how long will it take to cultivate the Abyssal Moss that could resist the World's Law Purification?"
While Grimm was asking about the moss cultivation, there was chaotic screaming coming from the higher floors of the Flame Burrow.
"Ahh…"
Under the Mask of Truth, Grimm's eyes froze for a short while, and he waved and instructed Claudia to provide support to the higher floors.
Claudia nodded and flew to the centre level of the Flame Burrow on a giant Chimera Scorpion; and after a short pause, the Level-2 old sorceress followed her.
The great Level-3 sorcerer who was cultivating the mosses focused on Grimm.
During the course of this Demon-Hunting expedition, there were a few Rank-1 Honor Badges that had been obtained by Demon-Hunters; however, as far as he knew, those who had obtained the badges were Level-3 Demon-Hunters who had been assigned with special missions by a few Stigmata Sorcerers.

As for this Level-1 Demon-Hunter who had obtained a Rank-1 Honor Badge…
"Since you already have a Rank-1 Honor Badge, you should already know the ultimate purpose of this Demon-Hunting expedition. The cultivation of the Abyssal Moss is divided into 3 steps, the first step is to utilize blood from the World Creatures to conceal the World's Law Purification, the second step is to spread the Abyssal Moss across the area of a kingdom to create partial cataclysm, and the world would lose the ability to perform complete elimination, the third step is to spread the mosses to every corner of the world to create great cataclysm."
The Level-3 Demon-Hunter spoke calmly with a husky voice.
He was floating on top of the pile of thousands of Acraepoid corpses which was placed in the lower levels of the Flame Burrow.
There was still growling coming from the corpses as there were still some of the Acraepoids that had not been completely snuffed out.
The image of the Demon-Hunter in the minds of the Acraepoids from the Infernal Spirit World was indeed similar to the illustration from the myths, he was like an evil demon.
"The duration of the first step to hide the World's Law Purification is determined by the amount of blood available. Obviously, the blood supply from the Acraepoids is sufficient in the Dark Destroyer Kingdom's Capital; in a month's time, the cultivation of mature Abyssal Moss to entirely resist the World's Law self-purification will be completed."
'A month?'
Grimm pondered for awhile and replied in a deep voice, "However, my current mission is to destroy the Flame Burrow of the Dark Destroyer Kingdom's Capital. The soul slaves at the higher levels of the burrow has been constantly bringing great losses to the Demon-Hunters that are facing ongoing battles, if I were to destroy the burrow, will I cause any disruption to the Abyssal Moss that is being cultivated within the magic array?"
The great Level-3 Demon-Hunter grinned diabolically at Grimm while his perfectly aligned and glossy white teeth were seen under his loose sorcerer robes.
"I have already found the weak point of the Flame Burrow, and it is easily destructible with only ten thousand degrees of concentrated attack. Also, destroying the burrow will not affect the Abyssal Moss that is being cultivated in the magic array."
'Ten thousand degrees?'
The degree needed for the attack could be easily achieved once combined with the Demon-Hunters who were at the higher levels of the burrow.
The primary focus for the moment was to source blood from the world and speed up the cultivation of mature Abyssal Moss to resist the World's Law Purification.
It was also unknown if there were any similar cultivation of Abyssal Moss being done by other Level-3 Demon-Hunters.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh, swoosh, swoosh…
Growling from the higher levels of the burrow had gradually stopped and there were more than ten Demon-Hunters of all sorts flying down to toss the corpses onto the pile of corpses that was within the magic array.
The Demon-Hunters that flew down stared at Grimm.
Regardless of the location, the Rank-1 Honor Badge would always capture the attention of any Demon-Hunter.
"How many more Acraepoids are there left in the higher levels?" Grimm asked.
Claudia tossed down a few corpses with nature force and replied, "The structure of the burrow is about a thousand meters wide, and we have just cleared up to six hundred meters in radius."
It was about three fifths cleared.
Grimm looked at the pile of corpses and formed an estimation, he nodded and instructed the Demon-Hunters to continue on with their collection of new Acraepoids corpses.
The Demon-Hunters flew upwards once again, while Grimm was about to fly up from the centre of the burrow, there were three Demon-Hunters who were rushing in from the main entrance; one of them was Wicky, and he was holding onto a giant hammer like a giant.
"Hahahaha, Grimm!"
Wicky let out a great laugh as he rushed into the hall of the Flame Burrow along with two other Demon-Hunters, while there was a giant spider that was about twenty meters wide that had been blocked outside the entrance.
"Hmph!"
The Level-3 Demon-Hunter that was guarding the magic array that was cultivating Abyssal Moss snorted and waved his magic staff, while the soil outside the entrance surged abruptly and transformed into a giant palm that got a hold of the giant spider.
"Grave!"
The sorcerer let out a deep groan while the giant spider yowled as it was being dragged into the ground by the giant palm and disappeared from sight.
"Roar…"
Wicky roared and hammered a tiny soul slave into pieces, it looked like an ugly deformed rat as it was pouncing towards his direction.
The humming sound from the vibrating sound wave echoed into the surrounding.
Not only the other two Demon-Hunters that came along, both Grimm and the great Level-3 Demon-Hunter were also in shock.
The power output from that guy was extremely high, and it was similar to Grimm's power during his Level-2 transformation of wild instinct!
"Let me set up a hidden magic array!"
A sorcerer that had a second head on his shoulder suggested while he took out a big portion of gemstones, and he seemed to have some attainments in magic arrays.
During his time as a sorcerer-apprentice, Grimm had already come across the side effects of such multi-headed Bloodline Sorcery from the Cerberus Bloodline Sorcery of another sorcerer-apprentice.
Grimm's understandings of the Bloodline sorcery had also gradually renewed along with the growth of his knowledge.
Any accomplished sorcery would cause changes that was referred to as a move on the leverage, it would be impossible to achieve a complete perfection as there would be accomplishments and also sacrifices on the opposite ends.
The cons of a Bloodline Sorcery was its impact towards the judgement of a sorcerer from other perspectives, while the pros of it was the short period of energy boost as well as the ability to develop an acquired gift.
The pros were the reason that had driven sorcerers to practice such sorcery although they clearly knew the side-effects that would come along with it.
Sorcerers would need to constantly overcome the side-effects and not to overlook the advantages that it would bring.
Even the Umbra Sorcerer Academy was built on the foundation of Bloodline Sorcery.
"Hmm."
Grimm nodded towards the two sorcerers and told Wicky, "You shall guard this spot."
"Hmm? Alright."
Wicky agreed and a humming sound was heard as he placed the giant hammer on the ground.
Grimm spoke to another Demon-Hunter that was equipped with a Mechanical Armor Core, "Come along with me to the higher floors to gather the corpses of the Acraepoids, and destroy this Flame Burrow."
To gather the corpses?
The body of the Demon-Hunter that was equipped with a Mechanical Armor Core was covered with a layer of metal; although there was confusion on what was the purpose of gathering the corpses of the Acraepoids, but no questions were asked as Grimm had a Rank-1 Honor Badge with him.
Grimm's presence had saved a lot of hassle for the great Level-3 Demon-Hunter.
In terms of status, Grimm was far ahead in comparison to the great Level-3 Demon-Hunter; however, the law of the Sorcerers World still segregated power by levels. Therefore, as a Level-1 Demon-Hunter, Grimm would have to always maintain the level of respect towards sorcerers of higher levels.
The sound of "swoosh" was heard twice.
Grimm and the Demon-Hunter that was equipped with a Mechanical Armor Core flew towards the higher levels from the centre of the Flame Burrow.
