A Sorcerer's Journey 402 Unobstructed Privilege

The halo above Vivian's head attracted occasional glances from a few sorcerers and some Foreign World slaves.
Vivian, on the other hand, was overwhelmed from meeting so many Demon-Hunters and slaves from various worlds that were executing the Sorcerers Will.
Of course, there were also many Demon-Hunters who had sensed Grimm's Rank-1 Honor Badge fluctuation and could not help but show some interest towards Grimm. There were even a few Demon-Hunters who went as far as stopping on their tracks and nodding to pay Grimm some respect.
"Caw, caw, this is the infamous Flavortown. Lord Grimm is treating you today, don't be overly courteous or you'll disappoint your Third Senior's good intentions!"

Grimm smiled as he asked, "Master Vivian, After my punishment in the Seven Rings Prison, I welcomed new students in this tender gourmet shop of the turquoise lake. Some of its ice elemental world's gourmet are quite unique, would you like to try some?"
Master Peranos nodded with a smile on his wrinkled face.
"We should've invited your Mistress along with us. She once dreamt of opening a shop here."
Grimm responded with a smile and added, "And Garnigel as well."
Vivian smiled symbolically as she followed her mentor and Third Senior into the shop.
Soon, a humanoid Foreign World organism approached them. Afterwards, the three sorcerers and the Myna entered a room within the inner roots of the Tree of Life under the hospitality of a pink-skinned humanoid creature.
Seven days later…
After exploring around the Tree of Life for seven days, what Vivian had seen and felt exceeded all that she had accumulated in the past hundred years during her time as a sorcerer-apprentice.
Currently, the only thing that Vivian could feel was that the Sorcerers World was too strong, the Endless World far too vast and she was too insignificant in comparison.

Her previous self was simply too naïve.
With Grimm taking the lead, Master Peranos and Vivian entered the Seven Rings' Protection Barrier with ease after a barely noticeable fluctuation. After a slight adjustment of the Sorcerer Will, a Snail Emissary which was packed with sorcerer-apprentices with halos and their mentors crawled towards Grimm.
"Take us to the Seven-Ring World."
Grimm ordered the Snail Emissary with a calm voice and it responded with a nod.
"I shall obey thy Sorcerer Will, O great Demon-Hunter."
For the snail to react this way, naturally it was because it had sensed the attention that Grimm possessed from the Principal Will of the Sorcerers World through the Will of the Seven Rings.
On the shell of the snail, the apprentices with halos had shocked expressions as they stared at this mysterious grey-masked sorcerer who held onto his Goat Skull Staff.
This mysterious sorcerer was actually giving such an order to the Seven Rings' Emissary?
Even their mentor had to show respect to the gigantic snail beneath them as these snails represented the great Celestial Sorcerer of the Seven Rings.

After the order was given, Master Peranos, Grimm and Vivian rode on the shell of the Snail Emissary.
Vivian stared at Grimm with great admiration, imagining that one day she would also be able to become a mighty Demon-Hunter like her Third Senior. Master Peranos, on the other hand, had a few doubts about what was happening.
"Caw, caw, caw. Let me tell you, Lord Grimm, he…"
Before Little Myna could finish its sentence, it noticed the abnormalities of the atmosphere around them.
Suddenly, a fluctuation of will appeared through the will of the Seven Rings. All of the Arcane Sorcerers on the snail, including Master Peranos's eye pupils dilated as they recognized this feeling. Grimm's sorcerer barrier was communicating with a mysterious force, a mysterious will that came from afar had descended before them.

Even an Arcane Sorcerer knew what a Rank-1 Honor Badge meant, it meant that this Demon-Hunter before them had once completely turned the tides of a Demon-Hunter world expedition!
At this moment, all Arcane Sorcerers aside from Master Peranos, regardless of their ranks, bowed to show their respect towards Grimm.
"Demon-Hunter Grimm, your Demon-Hunter battle achievement assessment has been judged as a failure. The completion of the assessment was rated at its lowest rank; therefore you are disqualified from being added into the Demon-Hunter battle records."
The voice of the descended will had a cold and disappointed tone.
The descended will appeared in an unstable state through the will of the Seven Rings, so it was quite blurry like a cluster of fog. This was also Grimm's first time encountering this kind of communication channel.
"Got it," Grimm answered calmly, not really bothered by the whole thing.
The cluster of fog seemed to be displeased and frustrated, so it did not say another word. With a 'poof' sound, the fog dispersed from their sight.

This was simply unbelievable! It was way beyond his highest expectations! This even surpassed the past that he took pride in!
After being engrossed in his thoughts, Master Peranos finally snapped out of his own amazement. Then, he advised Grimm.
"It's alright, Grimm. Fuhuhu, with the Rank-1 Honor Badge, you won't have to worry whether those organizations want you. With your qualifications, you can even choose to go to either Dawn Sages or Dawn of the Abyss and no one would say anything about it."
"Caw, caw, caw. Lord Grimm was the one who volunteered to let go of his Demon-Hunter achievements. That guy thinks that the young master actually cares? This joke is going to be the death of me!"
The Snail Emissary of the Seven Rings continued to crawl towards the peak of the Seven Rings' Protection Barrier after a short pause.
"Third Senior, those sorcerers are asking their apprentices to earn a Rank-1 Honor Badge like you. But, what exactly is an Honor Badge?"
At this point in time, Grimm had concealed his sorcerer barrier.
When the Sorcerer World was not being invaded by enemies, the sorcerer barrier served no purpose. Besides, Grimm did not want to show off and be observed by these Arcane Sorcerers like some kind of rare animal.
Grimm explained with a smile: "Honor Badge is an acknowledgment that a Demon-Hunter had made a huge contribution in turning the tables of war during a Demon-Hunter expedition."
"Then your Rank-1 Honor Badge must've been a huge contribution?" Vivian questioned with her eyes wide open.
"Caw, caw, caw! Of course, this is a contribution that both the young master and I risked our lives to achieve. You should've seen how that World's Lord howled in despair. Caw, caw, caw…"
Little Myna proudly added its own contribution to the story. It raised its voice as if it were afraid that the other sorcerers on the snail could not hear him.
It had a proud expression on its face, it could not stop itself from sharing its entire experience back when they were in the Gate of the World.
Vivian had her mouth agape as she said, "You turned the tables in the war of a Demon-Hunter expedition? Third Senior, you…"
Master Peranos too, glowed with pride. It seemed that he could show off to his master again when he returned to the Holy Tower of the Six Rings.
He got more excited the more he thought about it.
Master Peranos glanced at Vivian. He hoped that either she or Grimm could become another Quiet Spring after a few hundred years.
With that thought in mind, he pulled Vivian to his side. Meanwhile, the Snail Emissary of the Seven Rings had already climbed about eighty percent of the Tree of Life, nearing the peak of the barrier, just beside the tree crown.
Master Peranos pointed towards the ground and asked: "Look at those Demon-Hunter Castles, what comes to your mind when you see them?"
Grimm stood behind Master Peranos and Vivian, a smile appeared under his Mask of Truth, yet he said nothing. This scenario…he too had gone through it once.

Vivian stared at them for quite some time, then she answered, "The runes of a magical array?"
Aside from Grimm, even Master Peranos was shocked to hear that. Then he laughed and replied, "Haha, you resemble me back when I was your age. Even your Third Senior failed to see the deep arrangements of these Demon-Hunter castles. That's right, these Demon-Hunter castles were gigantic magic array runes written by the great Seven Rings Celestial Sorcerer."
Master Peranos grinned as he seemed to have caught sight of the future thousands of years from now where a Quiet Spring and a Grimm were born.

At the peak of the Tree of Life, there were six gigantic energy light pillars and the Snail Emissary of the Seven Rings flew straight into one of them.
Even with preparation, Vivian could not escape the fate of having to withstand great discomfort like other sorcerer-apprentices. She squeezed her eyes shut and gritted her teeth, enduring the pressure.
Suddenly, Vivian felt the pressure on her body disappear mysteriously. Opening her eyes to take a peek, she found herself within the protection of her Third Senior's sorcerer barrier. All sorts of pressure from the outside had been neutralized by the barrier.
Even with a grey mask acting as a barrier in between them, Vivian could feel the gentle smile on Grimm's face.
"We've arrived at the Seven-Ring World."
After the Snail Emissary announced their arrival, Master Peranos turned towards Vivian and stated, "Just now, we've ridden through the lever of fate together."
"Just now?"
Vivian was extremely confused, yet Master Peranos nodded, "Yes, just now."
After a few hourglasses, along with the high-flying speed of the Snail Emissary, in this dark shadowy Seven-Ring World, when a tower made from flesh, metal, and energy that was as tall as the heaven was within sight, an indescribable pressure was being released.
Vivian no longer felt that the sight of millions of void ships that were being scattered across the sky was as impressive as this sight.
"This…This is the Holy Tower of the Seven Rings?"
Vivian mumbled, completely stunned by the sight before her. For an inferior life-form like a sorcerer-apprentice, the Holy Tower of the Seven Rings was simply unimaginable.
Grimm on the other hand finally understood the purpose of the Holy Tower.
The Holy Tower of the Seven Rings was the heart of the artificial world of the Seven-Ring World!
This explained why the preparatory Demon-Hunters, who were also known as sorcerer-apprentices that had excellent wisdom and qualifications, had higher rates in graduating as formal sorcerers.
"We have arrived at the Holy Tower of the Seven Rings, the mentors of preparatory Demon-Hunters, please leave respectively."
After the Snail Emissary's announcement, the group of Arcane Sorcerers left respectively. Grimm nodded at Master Peranos's instructions and made a promise, "Don't worry, master. I'll make sure the sorcerers inside take care of Vivian."

Master Peranos nodded his head, then with a soft sigh, he left with a pleased look on his face.
With Grimm's Rank-1 Honor Badge, Grimm could basically go anywhere he wanted to except for certain holy grounds and private lands. Hence, making him not too different from a World Guardian.
This was one of the greatest advantages of having the attention of Principal Will of the Sorcerer World.
On the densely packed gigantic mechanical arms of the Holy Tower, the Snail Emissary landed on one of the many hands. It was as if Grimm and the group of sorcerer-apprentices were being transported into the body of a gigantic creature made from the combination of flesh, metal, and energy through the help of the mechanical arms.
