10. Awake

When I caught sight of the person that walked in, I'm sure my brain halted working for a second or two, there in the doorway stood a very beautiful woman,she was breathtaking.
She had midnight dark hair that cascaded down her shoulders and reached. her behind. Her face looked so exquisite like it was crafted by the greatest craftsmen .She had a cute button nose ,plump red lips and blue eye color and her ears they were strange , they were elongated and pointed .She must have been an elf . She wore a lab coat over scrubs.
Her figure looked so perfect. When my brain began processing I asked something, and immediately it got it out I regretted, "Am I in heaven?, because I think I am"
For a second she looked confused by what I said then she became panicked. Seeing her reaction,I said "Only angel could look this beautiful ",I felt my face heating up immediately I said those words I don't doubt by now my face looked like riped tomato . I might have caught her off guard with that comment.She looked surprised.
I think I've inherited some of Xavier character through his DNA.
I immediately apologized "I'm sorry if I offended you with my words ",I said quickly.
She was quiet ,looking at me amusedly,"No, it's okay . I'm used to it.
But you've got a mouth on you young man , I'll be sure to hide all girls from you, I'm afraid what you might do to the them"
Looking at my self reminded me I looked young so I doubt she would take seriously and thank God for that.
"I didn't mean like that it was just a complement"
"I know, I know looking at you I see you are doing well . You have been in a coma since you were brought here about some weeks ago.
You were found during an expedition by a squad of elf soldiers in one untamed forest infested by dangerous magical creatures ,you were brought here by an order from the general.And I almost forgot to ask, what is your name?,you can call me Doctor or Ashlyn if you like"
"Am Alec, I don't know how I particularly got into that forest but I think I might have clue" . After I said that she took her clipboard out which was tucked under her left arm,she started writing down something.
"Doctor Ashlyn ,If you are a doctor then what are you doing here I thought the nurses are supposed to take care of this stuff",I asked .
"You are a clever one aren't you?
You are right the nurses are supposed to take care of this stuff but I was ordered by the general to personally cater for you, It seems the general has taken a special interest in you"
The way she said the ordered gave me an indication that she didn't like it or who it came from.
"You think so"
"I'm sure they think you might have something to do with their expedition in that forest. Now I'm about to scan you ",she said tucking the clipboard back under her left arm ."You should close your eyes otherwise it might hurt them",and with that she stretched her right arm towards me.
I closed my eyes per her request .I wanted to ask what does scan do even though I had gist of what it did.
Right then I felt something coursing through me ,it started from head and ended at my foot,I felt exposed .
When she was done .She put her hand and said "Everything is alright it seems"
"What was that",I asked .
"That was spell, it is used by health workers,it lets me scan your body as the name implies for any problems"
"Wow that's awesome"
"There also something you said that I didn't understand,what are magical creatures", Even though I had some ideas from the description given to me by Ace and Xavier and also from books I've read before ,I wanted a more indebt explanation.
"You don't know what magical creatures are", she asked with surprise in her voice.
"Nope ",I answered.
"Well magical creatures are creatures that have been made exposed to mana and have therefore evolved. Magical creatures on earth aren't that strong compared to magical creatures from the Planta dimension, even an Elven child could beat magical creatures on earth "
