[Online Gaming] Love You 59 Seconds Chapter 2

Wu Han Ying felt very helpless, Jiang Tan's character was stuck in the same map, so he had to carry on by himself. The Little Wudang was having a hard time trying to follow Sa Sang who had turned a corner behind her, but before she could follow along she kept encountering groups of Savages that started attacking her. Slash slash beat beat was all you could hear for a short moment, when she had killed enough she would always turn to run away.

Wu Han Ying saw that his blood bar was at one-third and decided to fill it up. He just clicked on the last restoration pill when his whole screen suddenly turned red, and just like that within the blink of an eye, his newly filled blood bar was almost empty. At the same time the pine nut got flung out of his pet squirrel and its four legs overturned up to the sky---dead, it looked somewhat pitiful.

Not too far from where she was at, a male character donning high-level Wudang trendy clothes was skillfully finishing off another male character donning Xianlv (fairy/immortal) clothing. With just the use of one skill, the Taoist was dead on the spot.

Xianlv Clothing - can only be obtained when participating in a special event or from cash shops, it is all dependent on the event.

"You're being attacked?" Asked a roommate who crooked his head to look at Wu Han Ying's screen, "What kind of shameless asshole attacks a low level character?"

Wu Han Ying did not have time to answer because he was quickly looking through his inventory, but what he found was that he didn't have any more restoration pills and he only had a few bread buns left. Wu Han Ying took another look at his blood bar, it was at 17...

"I see that Wudang has turned on slaughter mode*," Jiang Tan left his lagging Pyromancer character to the side and headed over to look at Wu Han Ying's screen, "quickly fill up your HP (Blood bar)! Look at your blood bar, it is quite admirable you are only at 17."

[T/N: slaughter mode - where a player in the game can attack another player.]

"I don't have any more restoration pills."

"Golden Gourd, Silver Gourd*..." Jiang Tan was at loss for words at the moment, "How come you don't have anything?"

[T/N - Names of the bigger HP pots to fill up the blood bar/red bar]

"I didn't bring them with me, I left them at the warehouse." replied Wu Han Ying as the Little Wudang suddenly fell to her knees and chomped down on her buns.

Jiang Tan looked over, "Hurry up and leave, don't you see that Wudang with a series of sabers hanging over him!"

[T/N: in this game, if a character has a saber/knife/sword/blade hanging over their head then that means the character is still in slaughter mode. Which means that character can still attack other characters; this mode usually takes about five minutes or so to cool down, it's all dependent on the character's hatred level.]

Wu Han Ying was not paying attention so when he looked up sure enough, the Wudang character with the name "Love You 59 seconds" currently had three big sabers hanging over him.

Not waiting for Little Wudang to stand up, Love You 59 seconds suddenly made a move.

"He's looking through your equipment, hurry up and run."

"I haven't finished my quest yet." Wu Han Ying was not very anxious so he started to run two steps forward to chase after Sa Sang.

Jiang Tan's eyes widened, "You will get killed soon and yet you are still worrying about the quest?"

"It's not the first time I've gotten killed. My level is not too high, I didn't bring anything valuable with me and I don't have any gold; so really I have nothing to lose." said Wu Han Ying calmly. He took a few steps following after Sa Sang when he spotted a group of Savages waiting to welcome him.

Little Wudang had just eaten a few buns which only added a little bit of blood drops into her already low blood bar, it apparently was not enough to endure one attack from the little monsters here. But that Savage group did not get a chance to get close to Little Wudang because suddenly a faint blue light rushed out and they were all on the ground. A few more "puff, puff" sounds followed and several more Savages surrounding her also got killed.

After the blue light hit one monster, Wu Han Ying looked at the Little Wudang that now had Love You 59 Seconds following behind her. Why did this man help him kill the monsters?

"Don't tell me that Love You 59 Seconds is head over heels for your female character, eh?" Jiang Tan made a few strange laughs.

Love You 59 Seconds still followed behind Little Wudang, killing all the monsters in her way. As a result, the Little Wudang with low HP and low defense had successfully escorted Sa Sang to his destination.

Wu Han Ying did not quite understand why he helped him, but he did not say anything. When he got there he quickly found the NPC to return the quest. Love You 59 Seconds also stopped following, the high-level Wudang then started rubbing his hands together as he half-bent down. He stood straight up after rubbing his hands together for a few seconds; Wu Han Ying saw that a level 80 Wudang mount was summoned. Love You 59 Seconds got on it and flew away.

"Fuck, that guy just buffed up your blood?" Jiang Tan felt his eyes perplexing.

"Isn't it only the Emei that can do an HP buff for other characters?" asked Wu Han Ying while he looked at his blood bar which was now full. He really did not understand what just happened.

Jiang Tan was too lazy to explain it to him, "Ah~how come you have such good luck? You encountered a hanging saber player, yet he helped you clear the monsters and buffed up your HP. Maybe I should create a female character, little girls tend to be popular in this game."

Wu Han Ying turned a supercilious look at him, it's not like he wants to play a female character. He decided to ignore Jiang Tan and turned his attention back to the game where he guided Little Wudang back to Da Li to buy some restoration pills. Right when his character entered Da Li, there was a lag right at the teleport location. He waited for half a day and just like he was expecting he got disconnected. He logged in again and waited for a long time before he saw Little Wudang standing in front of Da Li. Little Wudang made her way to the medicine store where she intended to buy 20 restoration pills, but she did not have enough money. So she made her way to the warehouse thinking that it was best to take out some silver gourds. When she got to the warehouse she realized that she was still in safe time, so she had to stand and wait for it to be over.

[T/N: safe time - a time when the player is being protected and cannot being affected by any attack(s) from the other player(s). So the player will not receive any damage during this period, I think it's usually five minutes, or so. Not really sure though 'cause I never pay attention >.>]

Wu Han Ying had nothing to do but wait so Little Wudang would play with her hands, or sometimes look left and right; she was quietly standing there with less than one minute left. He was a bit bored so he took a glance over at the [World] chat to kill time. As expected, several speakers kept on appearing on the chat channel. It was just the usual where people were greeting someone's ancestor and the like*, nothing really serious, but suddenly he saw a very familiar name --- Love You 59 Seconds.

[T/N: "greeted someone's ancestor" - I think this has got to do with Asian culture thingy when people are cursing at each other, instead of saying "fuck you" or "Go to hell" or "mofo", you get the idea; in Asian culture, there is a form of cursing where you bring out the other person's family tree and cuss them out. For example, "your grandfather is a fucking retard, your whole family is retarded!" sort of thing. So instead of just cussing at the person, you will actually cussing at the family as a whole. Depending on the degree of the cuss words, some cussing is bearable, some is just unacceptable. So just don't take on this habit. If you want to cuss someone out, just do it to their face, don't touch their parents or family.]

But it was not someone cursing Love You 59 Seconds out, it was more like a "greeting".

{Speaker}[Da Suan]: WTF! Love You 59 Seconds! You even killed your own guild member! Aren't you the guild leader!

This one line was quick to disappear because a whole bunch of people followed suit to spam the [World] chat. Love You 59 Seconds did not say anything back, it was all one-sided.

Jiang Tan also saw the speaker's line so he took this chance to vividly retell the story to the others in the room of what happened earlier to Little Wudang in Cangshan. He added some spicing up of course, "That Wudang definitely fancies our Xiao Wu. If it's not that then why would he help her with clearing the monsters and buffing up her HP? But it seems he is just another douchebag, people have been cursing him on speaker for more than ten minutes already."

"Are you talking about That Love You 59 Seconds? I'm playing chess with him right now and he doesn't seem like a douchebag." The other roommate in the room heard that and looked at the Wudang in the chess map. He clicked on him and started checking out the other's equipment, soon enough his eyes became really wide, "What the, this person is not a regular Joe. He is a level 90 Wudang, his equipment is finely crafted and inlaid with all level 7 stones. Everyone says that Wudangs have low HP, but his HP is much higher than that of the Shaolin class. He has high damage with a thick blood bar and his pet is also of a special species; he really has the look of a wealthy man."

"That is impossible, all level 7 stones?" Jiang Tan was baffled and incredibly envious. He was at level 89 and got completely bankrupted, yet he could barely get a full set of all level 3 stones. When comparing himself to the other person...sure enough, it was incomparable.
