After Wu Han Ying finished his night class he walked straight back to his dorm. When he entered the room he looking at the clock on the wall and it was about to be eight o'clock. Earlier the Italian professor cut the lesson short, saying that he had a sore throat and then quickly packed up and left; the students were more than happy with the last minute announcement that would shorten the two hour session, so of course there was no objection.

Since he had been let out from his night class early there was no one in the room now except for him. There were four of them living in the room and the other three also had evening class, so they would not be back until 9 o'clock.

Since he had nothing to do he pressed the power button to turn on his laptop and clicked on the little red icon, two seconds later the welcome music greeted him. Wu Han Ying decided to play a game to kill time.

Let us talk about this person named Wu Han Ying; he might appear to be a bit less talkative, but he is definitely not someone that is hard to get along with. His academic performance is good, his sport performance is not bad and his look are quite ordinary. He is not hard on the eyes to look, it makes others feel comfortable looking at him. In accordance with his character he usually reads books to pass time, so playing a game is just by chance.

Wu Han Ying typed in his password and waited for Tian Long Ba Bu interface to load so he could enter the game. There was only one character at the character selection screen and it happened to be a female character named Xiao Wu. After entering the game, a female character was standing still on the screen wearing Wudang clothing and a long sword in her hand with the Wudang Section map appearing in the background.

Tian Long Ba Bu is the first online game that Wu Han Ying has ever played. He finally decided to start playing it because he had nothing to do and the other three roommates had been trying to convince him to join for quite some time. Those roommates only knew how to be boastful, saying that if Wu Han Ying joins the game they would help him train his character and that leveling his character would not be a problem. After he had created an account and entered the game, Wu Han Ying found out it was not as easy as they said. First, he had to learn to control the finger-shaped cursor to move around the map and do beginner quests. Then, at level 10 he had to select a class to join, learn all of the class skills and finally go train together.

When he first created a character, it was not the female character named Xiao Wu that he was playing now. Of course with his straightforward personality he would play a male character. He created a level 1 character in white clothing who was born at Da Li and after he was created he just stood there staring into space for five minutes. The male character only took two steps forward after what seemed like a day of staring when the first quest appeared, he studied it for five minutes and then found the NPC (Non-Player Character). After struggling through the Da Li map he finally accepted the "First Pet" quest after thirty minutes; the system gave him a squirrel pet egg.

After playing the whole night, Wu Han Ying was only able to get to level 10 which left all of his roommates dumbfounded. One of the roommates slapped down on his lap and decided to just give Wu Han Ying his backup account. That was why Wu Han Ying has a female Wudang character named Xiao Wu, whose level is not very high, just a level 46. This Wudang character was created to make it convenient for doing low level themed dungeons and since the roommate was too lazy to think of a name he just simply put in "Xiao Wu". Everyone started to agree with each other that Wu Han Ying is also "Xiao Wu", the name is very fitting.

Wu Han Ying does not like to play the game using a female character, he is not used to it. Yet in the end he really could not say no to their "hospitality". When there was nothing to do, he could play it to kill time.

Starting at level 46 little Wudang ran around the game map for the whole week, yet he only got to level 49. In fact, you could not call Wu Han Ying as stupid, after all it was his first time playing an online game so it is excusable. Second, the school Internet speed is just way too slow. The WiFi only receives 360kb/s but sometimes it gets down to 1kb/s. It is only when someone is connected to the ethernet that they might be lucky enough to get to the standard speed of 11mb/s, yet really there is no guarantee since the Internet often got disconnected from time to time. Even if they were spending the whole night playing Tian Long Ba Bu they got lagged for two to three hours straight, it was very frustrating.

Even though little Wudang was at level 49 he still did not have a level 40 mount and the novice wings given by the system for new players had also expired. He was doing one quest after another when he looked to the clock and saw it was 9 o'clock. Honestly, they all said lower level quests are easy to do, but it was not true. The Wudang class has low HP[1] and bad defense, it is no different from an egg shell. He killed about seven to eight monsters, but his HP was down to ⅔. It is said that the Wudang class has high damage[2], but at a level 49 he had acquired some attack skill books, let alone being at "max level", a skill such as Breeze Sword (skill name) was actually not as powerful as a regular attack.

Even though he was playing for only a short time, Wu Han Ying had to stop from time to time to eat on a bread {HP potion} to fill up the blood bar before he could continue. The quest was to kill 30 monsters and even though he was persistently killing them, it would take at least 10 minutes to finish this quest.

Once it was 9 o'clock, the other three got back to the dorm. Jiang Tan saw that Wu Han Ying was doing escort quests, so he told him to wait. It is difficult for one person to do escort quests, especially with the lagging school internet. It is really easy to fail so he thought of giving him a hand.

"Um." Wu Han Ying replied and moved his little Wudang to stand up and then clicked next to her on Sa Sang. He spat out only two sentences and then began to move forward step by step, his walking posture was a bit weird. Little Wudang quickly caught up to him.

"You don't need to pay heed to those low level monsters, I'll take care of them. You just follow Sa Sang and make sure to not let him out of your sight." said Jiang Tan who was riding his lion. He quickly opened the region map and searched for Sa Sang's name, he selected it once he found it.

Wu Han Ying opened his inventory as he tried to follow Sa Sang as closely as he could; there were not that many monsters in the way but they liked to swarm little Wudang when they noticed she[1] was around. Wu Han Ying did not pay much attention to the blood bar as his character tried to fend the monsters off with her fist, he would only click on the restoration[2] pills when the blood bar drained halfway.

"Jiang Tan, where are you at? I'm about to die." Wu Han Ying did not want to rush him since he knew it was useless, they all know the school connection is very lousy. But little Wudang was being swarmed by the monsters, he was being attacked by more than six of them and that Sa Sang was being such a burden. While walking he got sand in his shoes, so he picked the area with a lot of monsters and decided to stop and get the sand out; and of course not one monster was attacking it. Poor little Wudang's blood bar kept on draining like an opened faucet. She had used up seven restoration pills and the Pyromancer character was nowhere in sight.

"You're anxious, I'm even more anxious." Jiang Tan vigorously clicked on his mouse. Right when he got out of the teleport portal his mouse pointer suddenly froze, obviously he was lagging. Right when he got to the location of Sa Sang there wasn't a soul nearby; he waited for a few seconds when suddenly the screen turned back to the two teleporters in town from earlier. He couldn't believe he was being returned to where he was earlier. Jiang Tan could feel himself getting impatient, he was being teleported back and forth more than six time already; he really could not pass this!
